Geographical position

Located 29 km west of the center of Izhevsk. Next to it is the Nylginsky tract, which separates Postol from Middle Postol. The Postolka River flows through the village.

Before the revolution, Postol was part of the Sarapul district of the Vyatka province. According to the data of the tenth revision in 1859, 356 people lived in 63 yards of the state-owned village of Upper Postol near the Postolka River, and 3 mills worked.
