The cleanest beaches in Crimea. The best beaches of Crimea

  • 11.02.2024

You yourself have probably thought more than once about how beautiful and unique Crimea is. The mountains alone are worth it, the extraordinary nature! But the main advantage of Crimea, of course, is its beautiful beaches, since most people go to Crimea precisely to enjoy the sea, clean water and unforgettable scenery. According to official data, there are 573 beaches in Crimea, but of course there are many more. In our top ten beaches of Crimea you will find the cleanest, most beautiful and unusual beaches where you can spend your unforgettable vacation.

1. Cape Tarkhankut.

Tarkhankut has always attracted divers and ordinary tourists, since the water here is considered the cleanest and most transparent on the peninsula. All the beaches of the cape are quite difficult to access due to the steep descent to the water and a large number of rocks and stones. The cape is famous for its numerous grottoes, coves and bays, where everyone can enjoy the unusual beauty of this place. The nearest village from which you can get to the cape is Olenevka. It is best to get here by your own car, and stock up on everything you need, as there are no shops, bars or food stalls in this area. This place is ideal for those who really want to take a break from civilization.

2. Jasper Beach (mys Fiolent).

The beach is wild, really clean, and even at the height of the season there are not very many people here, which allows you to truly enjoy the beauty of the sea coast with colorful pebbles and clear water. You can get to Cape Fiolent from Balaklava by bus, or by boat, enjoying the beauty of the rocky shore from the sea.

3. Tsarsky Beach (New World).

The beach is located between Cape Kapchik and Mount Karaul-Oba in the Blue Bay. The water here is clean, with a blue tint. Everyone who has visited Tsarskoye Beach also calls it the paradise of Crimea. For the last few years, swimming on this beach has been prohibited due to the likelihood of landslides, but everyone who vacations in the New World and its environs simply must go to Tsarsky Beach at least once, as its beauty is indescribable. You can get to the beach on foot from the western point of the New World, following the Second Ecological Trail. Then turn into the gorge and in about 30 minutes you will be at your goal.

4. Cossack Bay (mys Chersonesos).

The beach is quiet, clean, there are usually very few people here, which allows you to take a break from civilization. The bottom and shore are significantly different from other beaches, since the pebbles here are white, which adds an unusual light tint to the water. The beach can be reached on foot from Sevastopol. Along the way, you will come across the Church of St. Vladimir and the extraordinary ruins of ancient Chersonesos. Having visited these places, it is as if you are transported into the historical past of Crimea.

5. Blue Stones (settlement Simeiz).

The blue stones are located right next to Diva's Rock. Many people consider this wild beach to be nudist, but in fact, those who really like rocks and large stones from which they can jump into the water just relax here. Everyone will be able to choose their favorite stone on which they can also sunbathe. Those who like to swim in clear water come to this beach if they are vacationing in Simeiz. Some even fish and dive with a mask and fins. The descent to the beach is, of course, steep. It will take a little physical training to go up and down the rocky slope. But once on the Blue Stones, no one has yet regretted the energy spent))

6. Quiet Bay (Koktebel).

A quiet bay is located a 40-minute walk from Koktebel, overlooking Cape Chameleon. This cape is unusual due to its ability to change color depending on the time of day. Throughout the day, it can change its colors from dark purple to golden orange, which is certainly mesmerizing! The bay is almost always calm, so the water here is clean. The bottom here is shallow. This beach is a long arc where everyone can find a place to relax.

7. The Lost World (Cape Aya).

On the land side, the beach is completely surrounded by rocks, making it almost inaccessible. You can get to it from the shore only if you have rock climbing skills and, of course, the equipment for this))). But according to the advice of those who have been there, it is safest to sail to the Lost World from the sea by renting a boat or yacht in Balaklava. You can also get to the beach by swimming from Cape Aya, swimming about 100 meters. The beach is completely isolated from civilization, so you need to think about food, drinks and essentials in advance.

8. General's beaches.

The beaches stretch almost 30 km east of the Kazantip Bay from the village of Zolotoye to the village of Kurortnoye. It’s not for nothing that this place is also called the “Coast of 1000 Bays,” where every company can find a free cove for relaxation. Of course, compared to the Black Sea, the water here is not as clear, but very clean, which also attracts divers. Fishing lovers will also be able to find something to pamper themselves with, as a large amount of fish is found in these places. And if you are already vacationing in these places, then you simply need to go to the unique mud lake Chokrak, which is located near the village of Kurortnoye.

9. Bay of Love.

The beach is located between the villages of Rybachye and Malorechenskoye. Due to its inaccessibility, it is always sparsely crowded, which makes for a peaceful holiday. The bay itself is part of an ancient extinct volcano. At the bottom of the path that leads to the beach, there is even a perfectly round crater with a diameter of about 2.5 meters. The best way to get to the beach is by renting a boat or boat. But if you still decide to get here from land, you will have to overcome a sharp descent with falling stones under your feet, so you need to prepare your shoes in advance, since ordinary beach flip-flops will not work here.

10. Golden Beach (Feodosia).

Golden Beach, or as it is also called Golden Sands, is quite wide with a length of more than 15 km, stretching from Feodosia to the village of Primorskoye. It is considered the best beach for families with children, since the bottom here is shallow and without stones. There is plenty of freedom for children here: a wide beach where you can run, build different shapes and castles from golden sand, find beautiful shells and add to your collection. At this time, adults can play volleyball on the free sports ground.

Golubovskie Stones is one of the wild beaches of the suburbs of Alushta. The beach got its name due to the huge number of stone blocks and one person who loved to stay in this place. Professor Golubev is the founder of winemaking in these places. It is more correct to call Golubovskie stones Golubevskie stones; in fact, this name is used by some locals, but there is a third version of this place - Bird Islands.

Beach infrastructure

Of course, the beach is undeveloped and unofficial. Most of the vacationers on it are visitors from Alushta and local residents of the village of Lazurnoe, on the outskirts of which the beach is located.

At first, the beach was considered a resting place for naturists. Here, lovers of pampering in the costumes of Adam and Eve could feel quite calm. With its popularity gaining, ordinary citizens began to flock to the beach, displacing naturists to the southwestern side of Lazurny to the failed beach of the unfinished Lazurny boarding house. Now there is the Wild Beach of the village of Lazurnoye.

A distinctive feature of the beach is the complete absence of beach vendors who always bother you while sunbathing. Although most likely over time they will fall in love with this place. On Golubovskie Stones you cannot rent a sunbed or sun umbrella, but you can pitch a tent and enjoy unity with nature.

The base of the beach on land and in the sea is large, time-honed stones to a regular oval shape. These are not small crushed stones, but really large boulders, which you often come across when entering the sea.

The water near the beach is always crystal clear.

Very crystal clear water. Of course, this is a real paradise for those who love to explore the underwater world with a mask. On the Golubovsky Stones you can often find divers, skydivers and even fishermen.

The descent to the beach is arranged in the form of stairs. This is the only place where you can go down to the beach without breaking your legs. The width of the beach, by the way, is just over 100 meters.

What's nearby

There is a small road above the Golubovskie Stones beach, after which the mountains rise sharply into the sky. To the west and east of the Golubovsky stones there are fences, which, however, have not yet been allowed to develop and people are constantly breaking them.

Do not forget that the beach is located directly under the slopes of Mount Kastel, and to the southwest of it in the distance a stone bear peeks out - this is Mount Ayu-Dag. In the direction of Alushta there was previously a children's camp called Crystal.

To stock up on water you will have to climb onto the road and walk along the road towards Lazurnoye. In the stopping area, right above the camping area, there is the Theodora spring, where you can get some cold water.

How to get to Golubovskie Kameny beach

Since in Lazurny itself any local or even vacationer can easily tell you the way to the beach, we will not get hung up on the description of this path.

No matter how beautiful Crimea is with its palaces, amazing caves or ancient fortresses, people come here primarily to bask in the rays of the southern sun and swim in the warm sea. But even in this case, the nature of the Crimean peninsula tried to create different beaches that will make your vacation in different regions of Crimea unique.

Beaches of Western Crimea: the golden kingdom of the sun

Western Crimea is an ideal place for those who love a beach holiday. There are many more sunny days in western Crimea, the sea warms up better, and the beach season lasts from May to October.

By the way, it is in western Crimea that the northernmost beach of the peninsula is located, which the Khazars called the “Golden Blade”. This is a cozy shallow bay that juts deep into the land. The bay is protected from the north by a chain of Swan Islands. The beach here is made of small shells ground into sand, which, due to the iron compound, appear golden in the sun. This place is located near the village of Razdolnoye.

Bakal Spit: natural beach on two sides

This amazing beach, created by nature itself, is located in the northwestern part of Crimea near the village. Glorious. Here nature has created a unique eight-kilometer sand spit separating the estuary and the open sea. The width of the spit is from three to eight meters, and it is dangerous to be on it in a storm. But on fine days there is no better place to relax.

On one side there is a warm estuary, the water in which warms up to almost thirty degrees. The level of salt in the water is increased - a small Crimean Dead Sea with healing mud. The estuary is shallow, calm, the bottom is muddy, and this is a great place for families with children or for those who like to soak in warm water. But if you want to swim in the Black Sea and feel the waves rocking you, you just need to go to the other side of the Bakal Spit.

It is worth noting that the sea here often has high waves, so children should not be allowed to go to this side of the beach themselves, but they feel the semen quite freely in the estuary, and the stormy air is useful with its aerosols.

There is a similar bay near the village. Mezhvodnoe, also in Western Crimea. It is called Yarylgachskaya. Where the oblique divides lakes Sasyk and Dzharylgach.

Not far from these places the village. Black Sea, with excellent sandy beaches. There are practically no storms here, so it is an ideal place for those who like to spend a lot of time swimming in the sea.

Tarkhankut Peninsula: romantic beaches

The Tarkhankut Peninsula is the westernmost point of Crimea. This is an amazing place that has become a protected area. Tarkhankut has a huge length, but the coastline that is suitable for a beach holiday is only about 30 kilometers. The Tarkhankut Peninsula is famous for its places created by nature itself for diving and snorkeling. There is amazingly clear water and an interesting and diverse underwater world that reveals its secrets to the most daring. The Tarkhankut Peninsula is famous for its grottoes and cozy coves that create a protected, secluded shelter, the so-called “pocket” romantic beaches that are formed due to landslides when the soil slides into the sea faster in the center, creating such a natural amphitheater. But you can’t spend the night in such coves, because during a high wave or storm they are completely filled with water. For camping, you need to choose places where grass grows. By the way, if you have too small children, you should not choose Cape Tarkhankut for your vacation, since the sea here is quite deep.

Evpatoria: children's republic

But where children will like it is in Yevpatoria. It’s not for nothing that this city is called the Children’s Republic. According to meteorologists, Evpatoria has the sunniest summers and the warmest sea. The weather here warms up to 20 degrees in May, and the swimming season lasts almost until November. The seabed here is flat, without sudden holes and pitfalls.

Evpatoria is one of the best resorts on the entire west coast. There are many health resorts and hotels that have their own beaches. Of course, all these beaches are mostly paid, but vacationers are provided with sun loungers and umbrellas, and the beaches are cleaned and washed daily. There are a lot of such beaches in the city, and you can choose according to your taste.

Evpatoria Beach

Beach "Côte d'Azur"

It is considered one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in the city, so wedding ceremonies are often held here. Located in the western part of the city. The peculiarity of the beach is its wide coastal strip, so it seems that the beach is not crowded. In addition, you can stop here by car and pitch a tent.

There are separate areas for smokers, and there are sun loungers, umbrellas and gazebos for those who do not like to sunbathe. Beach bars and restaurants offer a fairly wide range of menus at fairly reasonable prices.

The bottom here is flat, the first thirty meters the water does not reach one and a half meters deep, so children have more fun.

Oasis Beach

Residents of Evpatoria consider this beach one of the best. It is located on the street. Simferopolskaya next to the hotel with the same name. It is noteworthy that the beach is located in the old town and it is convenient to come here after excursions.

The beach area is cleaned and therefore there are no cigarette butts or broken glass here. All beach sand is sifted through special nets. In addition, the beach is divided into paid and free zones. It is better to come to the free zone early in the morning, as a lot of people gather here.

There are separate areas for smokers and areas for beach games. Of course there are many children's attractions.

The only minus of the beach, or rather the seabed that adjoins the “Oasis” is the underwater slab, which people often hit, since there are no warning signs. But this did not stop the beach from winning three shells - and this is how the best beaches are awarded in Yevpatoria.

"Knight's Beach"

Once upon a time, knight tournaments were held in this place, hence the name of this beach. This is probably the most exciting beach in the city. His motto: "Fun from morning to night." The beach will especially appeal to young people and clubbers, for whom a variety of events are held here. At night, life here does not stop, but continues in a club format, but during the day this place turns into an ordinary beach, and it’s free.

"Knight's Beach" is located on the street. Simferopol. It is easily recognized by the knight statue at the entrance.

Free beaches of Evpatoria

Communal beach at the intersection of the street. Frunze and embankment named after. Gorky.

This is one of the most crowded beaches, where you simply cannot find privacy. The beach area is quite large, but the truth is getting smaller every year due to the numerous attractions and inflatable children's complexes that are installed here right on the sand.

Beaches along the street Simferopol.

Along the street, many beaches have already been “cultivated” and naturally have become paid, but there are also communal beaches that are very easy to recognize, since they are not fenced. The beach is quite crowded and vacationers have to crowd together. Also nearby is another free beach, Solaris.

By the way, at the very end of the street you can find another free beach, a little unkempt, but not crowded. Here you can relax calmly from the bustle of the city. The beach area is quite large and therefore it is comfortable here for those who do not like large crowds.

Beach near the lake. Moinaki and embankment named after. Tereshkova

This is one of the few free beaches that are located in close proximity to the lake with healing mud Moinaki. The peculiarity of the beach is that instead of sand there are wide concrete steps that go into the sea. If you don't like sandy beaches, then this is the place for you.

Of course, this is only a small part of the beaches of Evpatoria, since there are more than 70 of them and they are located on a 25-kilometer coastal zone.

Further south from Yevpatoria there is a chain of lakes: Sivash, Mikhailovskoye, Kizil-Yar and Sakiskoye with its healing mud and many other smaller ones. Almost the entire coast is reserved for beaches, which are suitable for both children and adults. The most “underdeveloped beach” of this region is located in the village. Novofedorovka. It is very convenient to get here both from Evpatoria and Saki, as well as from Simferopol.

In the village Nikolaevka, Beregovoe, Peschanoye beaches are already of a mixed type. Here, in addition to sand, fine gravel is added. The coastline on equipped beaches is flat and suitable for children, but on wild beaches the sea may be deeper and the bottom is not level, so you should not leave children unattended.

Beaches of the Southern Coast of Crimea

Further south, almost to Sevastopol, there are no equipped beaches. This is a wild coast and you should not choose these places for vacation. The exception is the places where rivers flow into the sea. Lyubimovka and s. Uchkuevka. There are quite spacious sand and gravel beaches with a gently sloping seabed. Lyubimovka has a large nudist beach that will appeal to lovers of perfectly tanned skin. By the way, Lyubimovka has one of the cleanest beaches in the area, it is not the most equipped, there is no developed infrastructure, but here you will not find broken bottles or scattered napkins.

On the outskirts of Sevastopol in Andreevka, Orlovka, Kach, and on Cape Tolstoy there are also good beaches. It is worth noting that in this part of Crimea the beaches are pebble, only sometimes there are pebble-sand beaches.

Sevastopol and its surroundings

There are many good beaches in Sevastopol, well-maintained and clean. Sevastopol has more than 100 days in the swimming season that are safe for children, since the bays with beaches are protected from storms and therefore there are practically no high waves here. But Sevastopol has another problem - stagnant water, to which is also added wastewater, which the city treatment plants cannot cope with. But there are several places where the water is crystal clear. This is Laspi Bay and the Batiliman and Ayazyma tracts. By the way, the climate here is close to subtropical, as in the Mediterranean Sea.

In Sevastopol itself and the suburbs of the city, there are quite a lot of beaches with different infrastructure and different conditions, as in any other resort city of Crimea. Of course, there are well-maintained beaches here, where the area is cleaned daily and a wide variety of services are provided to visitors. But there are also spontaneous, wild beaches where cleanliness depends mainly on the vacationers themselves.

Here are some of the beaches of Sevastopol that deserve attention

Beach "Sunny"

Quite small, only 100 meters sand and pebble beach. It is located within the city in the Streletsky microdistrict on the right side of Peschanaya Bay. The well-equipped beach is located in close proximity to the Tauride Chersonesus nature reserve, so it is always crowded. The water here is quite clean and warm.

Beach "Sandy"

Located next to Solnechny. These are some of the oldest beaches in the city and also one of the cleanest. It is worth noting that the beach is well equipped for children. The seabed here is flat, and there are almost never waves.

Victory Park Beach

It is located directly next to the park of the same name, not far from the Zurbagan water park. The beach here does not open into the bay like many other Sevastopol beaches, but into the open sea, so the water here is quite clean. The only negative is the rocky bottom, so you need to be careful.

There are a lot of snack bars and cafeterias around the beach where you can have a tasty and inexpensive meal.

Blue Bay Beach

It is located almost at the exit from the city, it is its most southwestern part. This is a picturesque, pebble beach that is very popular with divers and snorkelers. “Blue Bay” is located in a place protected from prying eyes, it is not crowded and will appeal to those who do not like crowds and want to take a break from the bustle of the city.

Beaches in the vicinity of Sevastopol

We must not forget that in the area of Sevastopol there are very picturesque places where you can also find many beaches. According to both Sevastopol residents and vacationers, the most beautiful beaches are located on Cape Fiolent. Tsarsky, Jasper, Silver - the name alone suggests that this is a place of extraordinary beauty. These are mostly unequipped beaches, to which you need to come with your own blankets and here you will find the benefits of civilization that city beaches are full of. But this is the beauty of such beaches - you can enjoy beautiful nature, not disfigured by human activity.

Lost World Beach

Few people know about this amazing beach, and even fewer people have been here. This beach is located in a protected area in the Kakzan-dere tract. The beach is surrounded on all sides by inaccessible rocks and protected forest, so you can only get to the beach by skiff. The journey from Sevastopol will take about an hour. The beach is small and almost deserted. But here you feel a real fusion with nature; you can’t even believe that a bustling city with thousands of tourists is just nearby.

Big Yalta: the very south of Crimea

From Cape Aya and further east, cozy bays and picturesque cliffs alternate. The mountainous Crimea begins here and therefore the beaches are mostly pebble, the seabed has a sharper slope and you can find rounded stones or even whole boulders at the bottom. But don’t be afraid to injure your feet - the water here is surprisingly clean and the bottom is visible even through a two-meter thick layer of water.

The warmest place in Crimea is Miskhorsky beach and park. In winter, the average temperature of Miskhor is 1 degree higher than in Yalta and 4 than in Simferopol. The beach here is artificial and made of pleasant, well-rounded gravel. On the one hand, Miskhor props up Ai-Petri, and on the other, a picturesque rock with the funny name Bagel because of the hole that resembles this baked product.

The ecological balance of the southern coast mainly depends on the limestone rocks, of which there are quite a lot. These are pieces of rock that broke off from the southern ridge of the Crimean Mountains, which over millions of years have become separate elements of the landscape. The swimming season here lasts from late May to October.

Yalta, Gurzuf, Partenit, Livadia - these are the most famous resorts located on the shores of wide, semicircular bays, where hundreds of thousands of vacationers come every year. Many beaches that are not within the city limits are bordered by small amphitheaters of rocks, creating comfort and some privacy for vacationers. Although it is difficult to find a secluded place on the southern coast of Crimea - there are a lot of people here during the holiday season.

More about the beaches of Yalta

There are a lot of beaches in Yalta, for different tastes, both paid and free. It all depends on the hotels that are located nearby. Almost all the beaches are pebble, the sea goes sharply deep, so you shouldn’t let your children go here alone. There are several beaches of Greater Yalta that I would like to especially note.

Massandra beach

The beach is located within the city of Yalta immediately behind the marine station. Since 2010, the beach has annually received the Blue Flag, which is awarded to the best beaches in Europe. It is worth noting that this is the first beach in Crimea that managed to receive such an award. The Blue Flag is given to a beach for meeting various standards. Among them: free entry, a ban on entry with animals, a ban on entry of vehicles, weekly water testing, sand removal, showers, a first-aid post and a toilet on the beach and other parameters.

The beach is divided into several sectors - there are both recreation areas, playgrounds and entertainment areas. On the beach there are volleyball courts, tennis courts, cozy bungalows and much more that will make your holiday on such a beach memorable.

The beach also has a developed infrastructure; here you can find any service, from a gym to a tattoo parlor. And cafes and restaurants offer a varied menu. It is worth noting that life on the beach practically never stops; beach discos and parties are held here in the evening and at night.

By the way, in 2014 the beach of the Intourist Hotel also received the Blue Flag.

Livadia beach

The beach is located in Livadia, 3.5 kilometers from Yalta. This is one of the cleanest beaches with free entry and amazingly picturesque nature. You can go down to the beach by underground elevator or on foot through the park of the Livadia Palace.

The beach is free and, unlike others, the pebbles here are rolled and do not chip. The beach is divided into several zones; you can rent umbrellas or sun loungers for an additional fee. By the way, there are much fewer people here than in Big Yalta, so the beach is more suitable for those who do not like crowds.

In general, on the southern coast of Crimea, finding a sparsely populated beach is quite problematic. A huge crowd of people who come here to relax takes up almost all the available space. Therefore, in the vicinity of Yalta there is a problem with cleanliness on the beaches, so here, the smaller the settlement, the better the beach. Very beautiful beaches in Simeiz, where the mountains almost touch the sea. The Blue Rocks beach is especially beautiful, although it is not so easy to get to - it takes some effort to get down to the water's edge.

Nikitsky beach

Although this beach is not the most comfortable, it is one of the least crowded beaches. True, it is better to get to it through the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, wander through the picturesque alleys and go down to the sea. The beach does not have a developed infrastructure; sun loungers and umbrellas have been here since Soviet times, but here you can be in relative solitude and enjoy the picturesque views of Nikitsky Park and the azure sea.

It is worth noting that there are quite a lot of stones of different sizes, both on the shore and in the sea, so this beach is not particularly popular. But if you walk to Cape Martyan, you can breathe in the purest air, where the aromas of the sea and juniper are mixed.

Seaside beach

This is one of the oldest beaches in Yalta. It is very popular among both locals and visitors. The beach is free, so it is always crowded. You can rent a sun lounger or umbrella for an additional fee.

There are quite a few cafeterias and food stalls around the beach, where you can have a fairly inexpensive snack in between sunbathing and sea bathing.

Beaches of Foros

In general, Foros differs from Yalta and other resorts on the southern coast with clean water. It is here that residents of Yalta come to vacation, preferring Foros to their own beaches. It is worth noting that almost all the beaches of this resort are free. The depth of the seabed is from 3 to 6 meters. Almost close to the shore there are underwater currents that clean the coastal waters. Beaches in Foros are made of small pebbles. There are many cozy coves that create coziness and romance. But for a holiday with children, the city beach is perfect, where everything is equipped for a family holiday.

Beaches of Alushta

The administrative division of Yalta and Alushta is separated by the Ayu-Dag mountain, so there is no particular difference between these resorts. In Alushta, as in Yalta, in the summer the number of tourists increases several thousand times, so almost every centimeter of the coastal zone is reserved for the beach. It is worth noting that in Alushta there are a lot of junipers planted, which exudes a wonderful aroma, so when coming to Alushta one cannot help but notice its clean air.

Beaches in Alushta, just like in Yalta, have paid and free beaches. Paid beaches generally belong to some hotel located nearby. The advantage of paid beaches is that there are much fewer vacationers here, and the service is much better.

Beaches of the Professor's Corner

This is a whole series of beaches, most of which are paid. The professor's corner is built up with fashionable hotels, each of which occupies its own piece of coastline. Paid beaches are clean and landscaped. The infrastructure here is well developed, and the service and entertainment that they offer will definitely find their consumers. But it is worth noting that the fee charged for entering the beach includes the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas. In addition, there are many shops nearby with “resort” equipment, where you can buy masks, swimsuits or sunglasses.

There are only two free beaches on Professor's Corner. One is located between 64 and 65 groins, and the second beach is generally not very suitable for a beach holiday, since it is completely strewn with stones, and you can only get to it by swimming.

Beach "Tender Coast"

When in Alushta you can’t help but visit the “Tender Beach” beach. This is the largest beach within the city. The beach is free, but its infrastructure is at a decent level. Toilets, showers, a first-aid post - all this is provided to vacationers free of charge. But to get a seat on the “Tender Coast” you need to get up early - after 11 am, you are unlikely to find one.

The beach is covered with small pebbles; you can rent a sun lounger or umbrella for a small fee. There are many cafes around the recreation area where you can have an inexpensive snack. There are also plenty of activities on offer, such as banana rides and inflatable slides for children.

Fishing camp

This place is located four kilometers from Alushta. It is a long, narrow coastline, with a pebble beach and a pier. It is not as crowded here as in Alushta, but, of course, it does not have all the benefits of civilization. And if you can have a snack in the surrounding cafes, then you need to stock up on clean water, a sun lounger or a mat.

The sea here is clean, the seabed is flat. There is plenty of space to swim and frolic. But even if the sea is slightly rough, you will have to sit on the pier, since the coastline is very narrow. There is also the opportunity to go fishing; it’s not for nothing that this place is called the Fisherman’s Camp.

Bay of Love

One of the most beautiful places in Big Alushta. This is a picturesque cove, hidden from prying eyes, which is probably why it has been preserved because it is not so easy to get into. The Bay of Love is located near the village of Rybachye. This bay is half of an ancient, extinct volcano, so its shape is almost a perfect semicircle and is protected by rocks on all sides. Many people believe that it can only be reached by sea, but this is not true. There is a so-called goat path that leads through the rocks, straight into the bay. But if you decide to get there this way, choose comfortable shoes, since you will have to go down to the bay along a steep mountain path.

There is a legend that anyone who spends the night here will be very happy, but it is better not to stay on the beach overnight, since in the event of a storm it is completely flooded. You can wait in one of the secret caves.

The water here is amazingly clean, the bottom is rocky and can be seen even for several meters. You can watch the marine life or just swim in the crystal clear water.

Western Crimea: mountains and sea

Western Crimea attracts primarily with its amazing nature. There is nothing more beautiful in the world than the combination of mountains and sea, and therefore true connoisseurs of nature come to Western Crimea. There are not many resorts here, most of which are located in small villages: Kurortnoye, Novy Svet, Ordzhonikidze, Koktebel and others.

Beaches of the New World

One of the most beautiful places in Crimea, with an amazing combination of clear sea water, gray mountains and green juniper. There may not be as much entertainment here as at other resorts, but it more than pays off with magnificent views. The New World is a lost village, fenced off from civilization, surrounded by mountains.

New World Beach

The sea here is very clean, and the beaches are located on the shores of multi-colored Bays: Blue, Blue and Emerald. There is Tsarsky Beach, Turtle Bay, which is favored by nudists, and other small pocket beaches located among the amphitheater of rocks. In the New World, the beaches are made of fine shell sand, which is pleasant to lie on, but at the same time the water will not be cloudy. The seabed in Emerald Bay, where the main beach is located, is flat and safe for children, but on wild beaches the bottom drops more sharply, so you should not let children go there alone.

Beaches of Sudak

The beaches of Sudak are located on a two-kilometer coastline, which runs parallel to the city streets. There are both paid and free beaches. Are they great for children? City, central beach or the beach of the children's camp "Chaika", where the bottom is cleared of stones, shallow, and equipped with buoys. There is a lot of entertainment on the beaches of Sudak: water rides, inflatable complexes, beach volleyball courts, etc. The beaches are equipped with showers, a first aid station and toilets. Along the perimeter there are numerous cafes and stalls with homemade wine where you can have a snack.

Beaches of Koktebel

Vacationers leave the most mixed reviews about their holidays in Koktebel. The city is located in a small bay called Tikhaya, which speaks about the climatic features of this place. The bottom is flat, sandy and it is good to relax here with children. But on the other hand, the city comes almost close to the sea, and therefore the beach here is quite small. To get a place on the sand, you need to get up early. This is one of the biggest problems of the city, since there is nowhere for the beach to expand, and it is becoming more and more difficult to accommodate everyone during the season every year.

Koktebel beach

There are also paid beaches here, but they are not able to cope with the influx of vacationers. Koktebel is a small town, and although they try to provide a variety of entertainment here, they still cannot compare with the capabilities of other resorts.

Beaches of Feodosia

Apart from Kerch, Feodosia is the only relatively large city in Western Crimea. The advantage of Feodosia is its large beaches, where even during peak season you can always find a free place. There are several beaches here, each of which has its own merits.

But it is worth noting that the sea in Feodosia is a little cooler compared to other resort towns. The city is located much further north than Sudak, Alushta and other cities, and has access to the open sea, so the water balance is constantly changing. This makes coastal waters much cleaner, but also colder. In addition, there are frequent rough seas here. Another problem of Feodosia is the pitfalls that you can hit painfully.

Most beaches in Feodosia are free, and there are about ten of them in Feodosia. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented for a fee. There are toilets, showers, sports grounds and children's attractions. I would especially like to mention the “Children’s Beach” - everything here is equipped for children’s recreation. The seabed in this place is flat and the water is almost 50 meters shallow.

One of the most improved beaches with developed infrastructure “Disco-117”. This is not just a beach, but a real open-air entertainment complex. There are billiards, tennis courts, a disco bar and other entertainment. The beach is located at the exit of the city and can be reached by minibus No. 4.

"Golden Beach"

Already outside the city, along the Feodosia-Kerch highway, the “Golden Beach” runs for fifteen kilometers. This beach is one of the ten best beaches in Crimea. Golden sand, which gave the name to the beach, a gently sloping pebble seabed and picturesque nature - all this attracts quite a few vacationers. Since the beach is located seven kilometers from the city, “Golden Beach” has acquired its own infrastructure. There are many boathouses and mini-hotels where you can have a good rest. The beach is equipped with showers, toilets, a first aid station and a number of children's attractions.

Beaches of Kerch

Kerch is the easternmost city in Crimea, located on the border of two seas: the Black and Azov, which makes holidays here unusual and interesting. There are many beaches where you can have a great rest, without even going deep into the peninsula. It is worth noting an interesting pattern that in the city itself the beaches are not as landscaped and well-groomed as in the suburbs. Very often they are overgrown with grass and algae washed ashore, so in Kerch you should not look for housing in the city center.

Arshintsevskaya Spit

This is one of the most famous beaches of the Kerch Peninsula. The beach is quite extensive, 20-40 meters wide and runs for three kilometers. The Arshintsevskaya Spit annually attracts a lot of vacationers. Concrete breakwaters are laid out in several places; sea grass, which is present on many beaches of Kerch, is practically absent here. The bottom is flat and does not deepen sharply, so the water warms up very quickly and remains warm for a long time. The beach is not equipped, there are no showers, and there are too few toilets. It will appeal to those who love beach holidays and are not particularly selective.

City Beach

It starts from the southern outskirts of the city and runs for almost two and a half kilometers. The beach is sandy, its width ranges from 100 to 150 meters. You can always find free space here. The seabed here first goes sharply into depth, and then becomes shallow again - this is called the Azov bar. The water warms up to 27-28 degrees, so this is one of the best places to relax with small children.

Entrance to the beach is free, but if necessary you can rent sun loungers or umbrellas. There are equipped showers, toilets, and first aid stations. There are many attractions and water activities. The beach is one of the best equipped not only in Kerch, but also in Crimea. The only drawback is that the beach is far from the city center. Get here by bus No. 5, No. 10, No. 41. The trip from the Bus Station takes about 40 minutes.

The beach in Geroevskoye is very similar in its infrastructure, where a lot of vacationers also come.

General's beaches

Located near the village. Generalskoye near Kerch.

This is a nature reserve with amazingly beautiful nature and the cleanest sea. There are no equipped beaches here, but they are not needed, since people come here to be alone with nature. The sea here is shallow, but there may be rocks, so you need to be careful. It is worth remembering that you cannot litter in such places and therefore everything that you brought must be taken with you in order to preserve this beauty for future generations. The landscapes here are amazingly beautiful and if you are looking for a picturesque place for marine photography, you simply need to visit here.

Beaches of the Azov coast

The Azov Sea is not deep, and therefore it warms up much faster. The water temperature here ranges from 26-28 degrees, the bottom is flat and, probably, there is no better place to relax with small children on the Crimean Peninsula. Here there are wide sandbanks stretching for tens of meters, wide sandy beaches and a complete absence of waves.

On this side of the Crimean peninsula there are no large cities with developed infrastructure, so you can choose one of the small villages for your vacation. And if you choose: Semyonovka, Yurkino, Osovino, Novootradnoe, Mysovoe, it doesn’t make much difference, the conditions are almost the same everywhere. The village of Zolotoe stands a little apart. Here the sea is a little deeper, and there are always few vacationers. This place is suitable for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

From the village of Kamenskoye the Arabat Spit stretches 100 kilometers deep into the sea. A number of hotels, boathouses, frame houses and even ordinary trailers have been built here, where you can have an inexpensive holiday at sea. There isn't much to do here, but if you want a break from the city life, you'll love this place.

The most popular nudist beaches

A selection of the most popular nudist beaches in Crimea for those who prefer to sunbathe naked, but have not yet found a cozy beach for this.

1. Blue stones

Unofficial nudist beach. The name of this beach has nothing to do with the color of the stones and rock. Initially, the beach was called simply “Stones”, but later, due to the fact that people of non-traditional sexual orientation can often be found there, the beach began to be jokingly called “Blue Stones”.

The beach is located at the foot of Mount Koshka. The coast here is natural, not equipped and not suitable for the usual beach holiday. There is a steep descent to the beach in the area of the Swan Wing rock, so if you decide to come here, take care of comfortable shoes.

2. Ordzhonikidze

Between Feodosia and Koktebel lies the resort village of Ordzhonikidze. A hundred meters from the city beach towards Koktebel, behind the cape, there is a beach for topless sunbathers, and in the next four bays there are purely nudist beaches for those who like to sunbathe completely naked! I am glad that there are few people here and you can spend your time peacefully. Some of these beaches are sandy, some are pebble, and the shore of one of them is covered with clay, which, by the way, is very good for the skin. So there are many advantages: tanning without streaks, and spa treatments right in the open air.

This is the most advanced nudist village. The atmosphere of this resort is literally saturated with eroticism. In mid-August, there is a fun theatrical performance called "nudi" - Neptune's Day, a unique fun experience. A paradise for true daredevils without complexes! The most amazing thing is that this beach in Koktebel is located next to the city beach and a children's camp.

Coastal Stone Beach Coastal is a garrison of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. On Cape Meganom there is Bugas Bay, which is praised by some naturists, as well as the Kiik-Atlama area. It takes quite a long time to get to Bugas, driving along dirt roads from the side of Kapsel Bay from the lower road Sudak - Alhaderese.

4. Beach in Foros

A wild beach that has long been considered a haven for nudists. Its common name is “Wood”. This is because the beach is surrounded by juniper forest. The beach is hidden from prying eyes and full of solitude with nature.

5. Nudist beach in Sudak

The nudist beach is located away from the central city beach, if you walk from it towards the village of Novy Svet. There is no beach as such - you will have to relax and sunbathe on large flat boulders. Particularly popular is Turtle Bay, the most secluded place.

An excellent opportunity for scuba diving enthusiasts - there is a rich underwater world here!

6. Nudist beach in Lyubimovka

The most popular beach in Sevastopol for naked people. It is located on the North side. This beach can only be called “The Kingdom of Freedom”. The beach is sandy, the water is clean. This place is not crowded, so no one and nothing will bother vacationers. On the beach you can also meet “dressed” or topless vacationers, but there are still many more naturists.
