As of September 1, 2019, the airline's fleet consists of 250 aircraft. This is, without exaggeration, the largest aircraft fleet in Russia and the CIS. Aeroflot has the youngest fleet in Europe. It consists mainly of aircraft: Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Boeing 737 and SSJ-100.
The average age of the aircraft is 4.9 years, which is an excellent indicator among similar aircraft from a number of other companies. The oldest is Airbus A320-214 (tail number VP-BDK) - 16 years old. The youngest is Boeing 777-300(ER) (tail number VQ-BFL) - 0.5 years old.
Since 2013, active deliveries of Boeing 777 aircraft began, intended for use on long-haul flights.
According to Aeroflot's plans, by 2020 it is planned to expand the aircraft fleet to 184 units, of which 126 are Russian-made Sukhoi SuperJet-100 aircraft.

Aeroflot equipment

Aeroflot plans to introduce new models of Airbus A350-900 aircraft in 2018 to replace some outdated aircraft, and a little later the double-decker Boeing 747-400.
Russian short-haul Sukhoi aircraft are produced in several modifications. Aeroflot uses Superjet type 100-95V machines, created on the basis of the basic version. This is one of the first Russian airliners whose noise level meets European requirements. A total of 22 models were produced, of which 10 are in Aeroflot’s fleet.

The A330-200 model has 37 rows of seats, 6 of which are reserved for business class (3x2). In economy class, 2 side sections have 2 seats each, the middle section has 4 seats in a row, with the exception of the 11th, from 34 to 37 (there are 3 seats each).
The A330-300 has an almost identical cabin, but has 45 rows and a slightly different seating arrangement in business class.
Boeing 737
The narrow-body jet aircraft is used as a medium-haul transport. The length of the aircraft is 39.5 m, the wingspan is 35.8 m. The layout of seats in the cabin is as follows: rows 1 to 5 are reserved for business class according to a 2x2 layout; from 6 to 28 – for economy 2x3.
Boeing 777
The long-range wide-body aircraft has a length of 73.9 m and a wingspan of 64.8 m.
