"Valery Bryusov" sailed away. I worked on the ship "Bryusov Restaurant Valery Bryusov

  • 27.01.2024

A new place of power and concentration of interesting events in the city. There will be a garden city, coworking space, event space, family restaurant, prof. program. lectures and seminars from residents.

Idea

The project is based on the idea of transforming the ship into a multifunctional public space, securely sewn into the fabric of modern Moscow and being an integral part of the creative and business industry of the central part of the city. In fact, it is the world's first cluster on water, a unique space for citizens in the heart of Moscow.

We create a place for creativity, business and recreation, which is organized on the principle of a professional community. Carefully taking into account an integrated approach to the formation of a community of residents, the logic of zoning office and public spaces, industrial and recreational areas of the ship, we together create its unique appearance and meaning.

A clear understanding of the structure of the cluster, the relationship between its functions, residents and their audience, close cooperation with adjacent institutions, modern design and correct positioning will give us the opportunity to create a solid product with a large share of practical and semantic benefit for the city and its citizens.

Place

The Bryusov ship is located on the Crimean embankment in the very center of Moscow. The embankment was restored and opened according to the design of the WowHouse bureau in October 2013, as part of the overall project for the reconstruction of the recreational and park area of the Moscow River and is the beginning of the combined pedestrian line Muzeon - Gorky Park - Vorobyovy Gory.

The ship's mooring area is located in an accessible and comfortable place. Within a radius of one kilometer there are four metro stations: Kropotinskaya, Park Kultury, Polyanka, Oktyabrskaya, as well as the office block on Yakimanka, Muzeon Park, Central House of Artists - Tretyakov Gallery, Red October, Gorky Park.

Ample car parking is adjacent to Muzeon Park.

After the completion of the reconstruction of the Crimean embankment, this territory of Moscow can rightfully be considered a new place for active recreation, cultural excursions, family and business meetings of Muscovites and city guests. Modern infrastructure, a wide program of urban activities, a relevant and fresh ideology - all this points to high potential.

Walking recently through Muzeon Park in Moscow, we decided to visit the widely advertised Ship Valery Bryusov. In Moscow there are a number of art clusters that are already known to Muscovites, such as: Winzavod, Design Factory Bottle and Artplay.

There are not many such “floating” art objects on the embankment where you can freely go, go shopping or just read a book on the sunny deck.

The Bryusov ship is a three-deck river ship of Austrian origin (built in 1986), into which the organizers of the famous Design Factory Bottle. The world's first art cluster on water, Brusov Ship, as the organizers call the Brusov Ship, opened quite recently, in July 2014. In the dashing 90s, the ship had a floating restaurant, a casino, and cabins were rented out by the hour. But that’s all in the past; today, the Bryusov Ship should become a fashionable place among the creative crowd.
Externally, the boat has not changed much, but has only become prettier. So, thanks to the efforts of the St. Petersburg artist, some of its parts acquired a cheerful appearance.

So, we go inside along the ladder.

On the ground floor, visitors are greeted by a small reception desk. There are nice, friendly girls who work there. I can assume that they help visitors find their way.
The premises inside the ship are gradually filled with tenants. In general, it must be said that navigation on the ship is bad. There are no signs (but perhaps there will be when all the rooms are full). To find a cafe, you will have to go through all the floors.

So, there is already a shop of Artemy Lebedev familiar to everyone, an Adidas concept store, a men's hairdressing salon Briolin, and various designer shops. It is also worth noting the space for women, The Tub (hair salon and social club), where you can hang out and get organized.
It seems that in a couple of months this place will be quite cozy and youthful. But many rooms are not yet filled, garbage is visible through the doorways, etc.

There are now two cafes on board: a Greek cafe on one of the decks and the Volna bar on Solnechnaya Embankment, where you can order fresh juices, fruits and drinks. By the way, according to information from the organizers, there should be a secret monocafe somewhere here on the ship. We didn’t find it, maybe that’s why it’s secret?
The whole thing is reminiscent of some kind of shopping center with a creative twist on the water, where no one cares about you. To make a visit to the ship useful, you need to study the program of events, but more on that a little later.

Personally, I really enjoyed Sundeck. To get there, you need to climb the stairs to the very top.

The upper deck offers magnificent, unusual views of Muzeon Park and the embankment.

At the very top of the ship, on the Sun Deck, it is very cozy, the floor is covered with wood. Yoga and dance classes are held here on weekdays. There is also a DJ pool upstairs, music is constantly playing. You can drink something non-alcoholic at the Volna bar.
There is also a lecture hall upstairs, which can also be used for film screenings. We didn’t go there, but I read about it in various sources.

The sun deck is covered with a tent like this, so the yogis or dancers who practice here will not be afraid of rain.

It is planned that the Bryusov Ship will host meetings of various interest clubs, interesting lectures, and educational events.
Through the sun deck you can go to the bow of the ship, from where you can enjoy excellent views of Red October and the sculpture of Peter the Great.

By the way, there is access to air on all decks.

In general, I would like to note the following:

1. If you intend to visit the Bruce Ship, then study the program of events. This can be done, for example, in the VKontakte group https://vk.com/brusovship, or on FB https://www.facebook.com/brusovship. Remember that if you accidentally wander in here unprepared, you might end up bored.
2. If you are going to yoga, you can find out the schedule here yogaboat.ru, and you can also register there.
3. If you walked through Muzeon Park or Crimean Embankment, be sure to visit the Sun Deck of the Bryusov Ship. There you get excellent photos with a head start on Moscow sights.

The famous ship "Valery Bryusov", which stood on the Crimean embankment for almost a quarter of a century, according to a court decision, sailed from the center of the capital yesterday morning. Forever. Cause? The ship did not have a water use agreement. Thus, city authorities continue to clear the banks of the Moscow River from potentially dangerous ships and landing stages, which often simply disfigure the entire water area.

The metropolitan authorities began removing ships that densely adhered to the embankments back in the nineties in 2013. Actually, a landing stage is a structure on the shore for boarding a ship, for example, a river station or a pier, but in the capital they turned old ships into them, mooring them forever and not always where this is permitted. Many housed offices, hotels, and restaurants. As the press service of the Transportation Organizer explained to RG, they are all excluded from the state ship register, that is, they are no longer ships, which means they have nothing to do on the water.

In total, over three years, 38 house-ships sailed away from their berths, 12 of them from the very center: from the Frunzenskaya, Krasnopresnenskaya, Kosmodamianskaya and Berezhkovskaya embankments. The owners removed most of them - 28 - themselves, 10 had to be taken out to the city, and now their owners owe the Moscow budget 80 million rubles for dismantling, transportation and storage.

"Valery Bryusov" - a legendary ship - lasted the longest in one of the most iconic and tourist-visited places in Moscow. For a quarter of a century, what has happened here! And a hotel, and a casino, and an entertainment center, and, of course, a restaurant. He was not listed as a landing stage operator, but many questions arose for him. “The Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office checked the legality of the placement of the Valery Bryusov vessel moored on the Crimean embankment,” said Igor Semerikov, head of the Operations Department of the Transportation Organizer. - It has been established that the ship is operated without a water use agreement, which violates Art. 11 of the Water Code of the Russian Federation. The court satisfied the demands of the prosecutor's office in full and ordered the owner - Moscow Tourist Fleet OJSC - to vacate the embankment."

Over the course of three years, 38 house-ships just like the Bryusov sailed away from the capital’s piers.

“Bryusov” will soon be followed by “Lastochka-2” on Luzhnetskaya embankment and “A. Blok” on Krasnopresnenskaya. The first one does not have a mooring agreement, the second one is generally moored to the embankment, which is not suitable for this. “On illegally installed vessels, it is possible that the necessary safety standards may not be observed,” said Igor Semerikov. “Being on such vessels is dangerous both for visitors and for those people who work there. Residents of the surrounding houses also complain about the noise from the Lastochka vessels. 2" and "A. Block" and their pollution of the water area." After all, most of these ships discharge all waste directly into the water.

Currently, there are still 29 landing stages on the river within the capital, 17 of them are small. But they also need to prepare for their last flight soon.

Walking along the Crimean embankment and the Muzeon art park, I always looked at the ship “Valery Bryusov” and thought what they would come up with, a restaurant? a hotel? or abandon it altogether, but no, they opened it and there is a lot, a lot of things there, admission is free! When we walked in, it immediately reminded me of something, either the Artplay space on Kurskaya, or the Flacon design factory. It turned out that the project was actually developed by the team of the Flacon factory and the creative workshop “the Dreamers United”. From where I managed to look while my daughter was running around the deck, this is a mini-theater for children under 7 years old “Just a Joke”, they invite you to the performance every Sunday at 10-30, 11-30 and 12-40 “The Story of Nothing” "(cabin 202), language laboratory "MyPeople" for any age, Mams&Paps Art Coffee House with interesting design and drinks for children and adults. They also host concerts and watch movies there. There are designer clothing stores, an atelier, an art gallery... We ran through the cabins almost at a gallop, stopped only in the children's theater - a bright room, bright and beautiful, friendly staff, they told us about the performance, they invited us. And in the Greek cafe “Sito” we pleased with a real Greek salad and “penerli”, or, as we can call them, “boats with meat and cheese”, they are baked before our eyes! The prices are quite affordable - coffee, for example, 100 rubles. In general, those who love olives, oil and Greek sauce can come in. The uppermost deck is open, there is a transparent awning, there is a stage for various events. Wood and metal look great, the views of Moscow are stunning! A beautiful and functional place where you can dress up, eat and drink, watch a movie, learn something and dance. And all this in the fresh air and on the water! Half of the cabins are still in the opening stage, but it’s worth a look.
