Garmisch - Partenkirchen was formed in 1935, on the eve of the 1936 Olympic Games, by the merger of the two small villages of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. - Kreuzek (1650 m) will delight mogulists, freestyle lovers, as well as those who love winter skiing in the forest, as 6 km of trails run among the trees. Please note that there are no illuminated routes in this area.

- the length of the slopes is 120 km (for beginners, about 20%, difficult 15%, the rest are of an average level, for those who have already got up on alpine skiing). The largest territory falls on the Garmisch-classic (40 km), Zugspitze (21 km);
- the total length of cross-country skiing trails is about 150 km;
- the number of routes for lovers of winter walks ranges from 300 to 120 km (depending on the season).
