Description of long beach phu quoc beach. Fukuoka beaches: which one is worth seeing? Hotels along Long Beach

  • 05.04.2020

Friends, good day to all!

The catalyst for a good journey is a competent and correct calculation of technical issues. Here you will find the correct location of the hotel, the harmonious work of the "budget-desire" tandem, timely evacuation from the airport and early return to the same place.

Since today we are faced with the task of finding out how to get from the airport to Vienna, we will deepen our knowledge of Austrian topics. What kind of airport is it, where is it and how to get out of there at will without losing team members and the lion's share of the budget.

In general, taxis, buses, transfers and trains we measure for the suitability and quality of customer service. After reading the article, you will easily get to the center of Vienna and you will not be confused at the airport itself.

Two words about the main thing

So, in a galaxy far, far away, in 1938 ... and so on in the text of Wikipedia. What should we know? That the airport acquired its modern look in 2015 due to the constant enthusiasm for passenger traffic.

There are 7 airports in Austria today. The largest of them after Vienna are the airports of Salzburg and Innsbruck.

Today the airport Schwechat serves about 20 million passengers a year and occupies a modest 24th place among all airports in Europe, Russia and Turkey.

The airport has 4 terminals:

  • 1 - for international airlines
  • 1- for low-cost airlines
  • 2- was under repair and so far something has not been opened
  • 3- personal terminal Austria Airlines and their teammates from Star Alliance

Where is

The airport is located southeast of the center of Vienna, just 20 km. Therefore, there should not be any special puzzles and gigantic waste on the road. With Austrian pedantry, there are 10 options for getting into the city.

But the nearest airport in Slovakia in Bratislava is only 60 km away.

Check out the approaches and see online scoreboard departure and arrival can be on the official website viennaairport.com

Look carefully, as there are several analogues of this site on the network that are not official.

What to do inside the airport

The airport is surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable. There is a small shop inside SPAR and even McDonalds ... So eating between flights or before leaving the airport is no problem.

You can also go outside, where you will find yourself not in a noisy and dirty parking lot, but in a cozy area with green lawns and a couple of eateries.

Upon arrival, we passed border control so quickly that we still had almost an hour.

The inside of the airport is also very easy to understand:

  • right next to the exit, after collecting your luggage, you will have 2 ticket offices for the CAT and OEBB trains;
  • if you go to the right, you will come to a supermarket and a diner;
  • if to the left, then go in the direction of the local station;
  • well, right at the exit - this is to taxis and buses.

Here is the simplest and most straightforward layout of the arrival hall. It is impossible to get lost in this "bagel"))

Airport baggage for Austrian Airlines passengers

With luggage, things are very original here. With the arrival, everything is clear - I hooked the required number of bags and only you were seen. But on departure the situation is different.

After you print your boarding pass at home or at a machine at the airport, you must drop your luggage onto the transport belt yourself. Scan your ticket, tear off the tape with the baggage tag, attach it to the baggage and pile it onto the transporter.

After that, you go lightly to “surrender” to the authorities and border guards.

At this stage, you will be intercepted by especially nimble employees Austrian Airlines inviting to wrap up to the scales. Suspiciously inflated bags will be weighed and branded with Cabig Baggage tags.

How to get to the center

Well, now about the most important thing in this article - how to get from the airport to the city.

This can be done by buses, trains, or order a transfer upon arrival. Of course, the fastest and most comfortable for a family or company is a transfer.

Well, if you are 1-2 people, then it is useless to throw money. It is better to filter the options I suggested to suit your goals.

Transfer from the airport to your gate

If you have no leisure to deal with trains and buses, or you are not satisfied with the schedule, then you can safely order a transfer from the company Kiwi-taxi ... This is an international service that helped us out a couple of times in and out.

You will be met at the exit from the terminal with a nameplate and help you leave the airport building on the shortest path. To the center of Vienna you will take you somewhere for 35 euros ... It is more expensive than taking the train, but cheaper than taking a taxi.

Moreover, everything can be paid in advance on the Internet and not toil with suitcases in the German language environment of the airport.

By bus to Vienna

Vienna Airport Lines

This company carries out transportation from Vienna airport in three directions

  • Val 1 - to the central railway. Vienna Hauptbahnhof station every 30 minutes
  • Val 2 - to the Schwedenplatz metro station at the Danube canal every 30 minutes
  • and Val 3 - on the other side of the Danube to shopping center Donauzentrum every hour

Please note that the second route is 24/7. Apart from a taxi or a transfer, this is the only way to get out of the airport from midnight to 6 am.

One way fare is 8 €, if you take it back and forth, then 13 €. Children 6-14 years old tickets for half price. There is also a small discount on the Vienna Card.

The first bus leaves at 06:00 and the last at 00:30. Travel time is 25 minutes.

Here is the official site viennaairportlines.at where you can check timetables and prices, as well as their routes taken from the same place.

Air Liner

The buses of this company arrive at the bus station Wien Erdberg ... Here you can change to the U1 metro line or to intercity buses for travel to other European cities.

Buses leave at the 20th minute of every hour from 5:20 am to 10:20 pm.

Tickets cost 5 € and 9 € both ways. Children under 12 years old get a 50% discount.

You can check the schedule and buy a ticket on their official website air-liner.at

Flixbus

The ubiquitous bus company that will not only take you to the center, but also pick you up in any neighboring city in Europe.

The fare is 5 euros if you buy on the website. Depart every hour and take you to the bus stop in 15 minutes Wien Erdberg ... Same as the previous bus company.

Here is their website for further "excavations". We left on a bus like this

By train to Vienna

There is not a plowed field of options and suggestions. Let's take a look.

CAT trains

City airport train Is the fastest train that will take you non-stop from the airport to the metro station Wien Mitte / Landstraße - metro lines U3 and U4... It's next to the city park Stadtpark and two metro stops from St. Stephen's Cathedral.

The train runs on the route from 06:09 to 23:39 every half hour at the 9th and 39th minutes of every hour. The journey takes 16 minutes.

One way ticket costs 11 €, and round trip 19 €. Children under 14 ride free. If you buy Vienna Card , then you will pay 10 € and 16 € for tickets, respectively.

Official site for purchasing tickets cityairporttrain.com. Here you can save 1 € when buying online, and if you buy it on the train, then on the contrary pay 2 €.

The site has an excellent offer for those who have a transfer in Vienna for 4 or more hours. For 39 euros you will be taken there and back and taken by bus with a visit to the 1st museum. Consider that you've been to Vienna))

City train S7

This is the cheapest way to get to the city center for only 4.20 €. The S7 train goes with stops and will take you to the station Wien Mitte / Landstraße (City Park) - in the same place as high-speed train CAT or Renweg (Belvedere Palace).

The train runs from 6.33 am to 23.03 pm. Departure every half hour at 03 and at 33 minutes of every hour.

You can buy a ticket in vending machines in Austria railways ÖBB, at the company's service counters and in the mobile application on the Internet.

As I already wrote, your ticket will cost 4.20 € even when purchased from a machine or on the website tickets.oebb.at/en/ticket/timetable looks like this.

For more information about tickets and train and commuter train timetables, see the official website of the airport itself viennaairport.com or the website of the city carrier Wienner linienwienerlinien.at.

Railjet trains

These are intercity trains that run to all corners of the vast Austria + neighboring capitals. Trains go to the railway. the station and, by coincidence, the ticket costs the same as for the S7 train.

Trains are high-speed and comfortable, they go to the station for about 20 minutes. From the central railway. Vienna train station will not be a problem to reach your hotel.

In general, carefully follow the train schedule on the monitor at the airport itself and "lay the straw" in advance at home, having familiarized yourself with the train schedule.

Railjet and S7 trains arrive on platform 1-2, and high-speed trains CAT only on the 3rd.

How to save money on buying a train ticket

In Austria, these zones and trains are not so simple. But it is better to stick it in right the first time and then not overpay for nothing.

So, you are at the airport and you need to get to the center at the minimum rate. Of course, you want to buy some kind of travel card in Vienna: a day card, a ticket for 24, 48, 72 hours. It applies to the entire 100 zone on the map, or Wien kernzone.

It turns out that we only need to buy a train ticket to the border between the 2nd zone, where the airport is located, and the 1st zone, where the center of Vienna is. And in the 1st zone, we are already like kings and will ride on our pass.

Ticket from Flughafen wien before Schwechat costs only 1.80 €. Then you buy it and additionally any travel pass you need for 1, 2, or 3 days and when planting you compost both of them. This option is also suitable for cardholders. Vienna Card .

Go to myself Schwechat or there is no need to dismount. This point is simply a virtual border between zones 1 and 2. If you are not driving from the airport, then instead of Schwechat, there can be any other landmark on the border of the 2 zones.

By the way, I was told that when buying a ticket through the station machine Schwechat no. Then just choose the name of the zone Wien Kernzonengrenze... The cost is the same.

If you do not have time to solve such puzzles and understand machines, then you still do not pay 4.20 € for the train. Better buy yourself 2 separate simple tickets for public transport Vienna for 2.40 €. Only this is no longer a railway network ÖBB and the network Wiener Linien.

You will pay 4.80 €, but 1 ticket will be used to pay for travel between zones (covers the ticket for 1.80 €), and on the second you will not only get to the railway station. train station, but also take Vienna transport to your hotel.

Speaking of children. Children under 6 years old ride for free, and 6-15 years old pay 50% for the ticket. But holders of the Vienna Card can take 1 child up to 15 years old on a balloon around the center of Vienna (in zone 100). So he will only need to buy a ticket for 0.90 € (50%) to the 1st zone of Vienna.

Life hack for family

Ticket for 1 person from Vienna to the airport by train S7 or by train Railjet costs 4.20 €. How much do you think such a ticket for a family costs? 5.80 €!

So, if you are not alone, then forget about all the machinations and just beat your entire team with one ticket.

We were 2 adults and a child of 12 years old and the ticket cost us such a little money. And you can boo all day long and from any station in Vienna!

Friends, that's all for me. I hope I passed on all the experience that I managed to gain from 2 trips. If something remains unsolved, forgotten, missed, then please unsubscribe in commentsthat yes how and add your opinion.

Transfer to Vienna Airport is possible around the clock by train and bus from 4.2 €. From the airport you can also go to Bratislava for 5 €.

Before writing about the transfer from the airport by bus, I want to add that it is also possible to go directly to and.

Flixbus orBlaguss or AirLiner

One and the same bus is represented by three companies at once AirLiner,Blaguss and Flixbus... This can cause a stranger even on buses and there are stickers of three carriers at once. The fact is that some of the tablets are very small.

This should be taken into account when landing at the airport, since any of the carriers can be on the electronic board in the schedule. Focus on the departure time, not the company. Buses run from 5 am to 10 pm every hour, and the ticket price is fixed at 5 €.

  • Tickets are sold on the site as Blaguss and AirLiner do not have their own ticket site.

Stop in Vienna Erdberg metro station (line U3).

NOTE: stop erdberg metro stations in Vienna is located across the street from the subway exit. It is not marked and looks like a regular public transport stop. There is a sign with the Vienna-Bratislava timetable on it. You can make a mistake and wait for the bus next to the bridge, where the small bus terminal is located.

Vienna Airport Lines (PostBus)

Another combination of bus carriers offering official transfers between Vienna and the airport. One way fare is 8 € (for owners the price is 7 €), round trip is 13 €. You can buy tickets from the driver at boarding and from vending machines, as well as.

Buses leave every 30 minutes from Schwedenplatz and Westbahnhof with stops at Volkstheater, Rathaus and Schottentor.

Vienna Airport Trains

There can be confusion with the trains to the airport. the airport can be reached by trains of the three companies CAT (City Airport Train), S-bahn and regional trains REG / ICE. All of them either depart or pass through the large Wien Mitte stations in the center of Vienna. Therefore, I will describe the road by default from this station.

CAT (City Airport Train)

This is a special high-speed train for airport transfers. One way price 11 €, round trip 17 €, travel time 16 minutes. Tickets for this train allow you to check-in and drop off your luggage directly at the Wien Mitte train station.

  • To buy tickets it is possible in machines and online and.

REG or ICE

Regional trains pass through Vienna airport; tickets for them are sold both in vending machines and for 4.2 €. Trains travel a little faster than S-bahn for 18 minutes. make fewer or no stops. The advantage of the REG / ICE trains is the ability to reach Vienna Central Station.

S-bahn

The S-bahn suburban trains are part of Vienna's urban transport network and are therefore valid for public transport tickets. From the Wien Mitte station, the S7 train travels and spends a little over 20 minutes on it.

  • If you buy tickets for public transport from WienerLinien vending machines, you will have to buy two single tickets for 2.2 € and punch them right away. The airport is located outside the Vienna city transport zone therefore there is one ticket per zone.
  • If you buy tickets from vending machines for commuter trains VOR or OEBB (OBB), then you can choose the starting point of departure (Wien Mitte - Flughafen Wien) and buy one ticket for 4.2 €.
  • You can buy tickets for VOR and OEBB. Tickets are valid from the date and time indicated on it and do not need a punch stamp.

Vienna airport taxi

The best option for those who travel with a large company or with bulky luggage, as well as for those who love comfort and want to get from the airport to the hotel as soon as possible. You will be met with a sign at the airport or come to pick you up at the specified address. The language barrier will not be a hindrance either, because the driver will already know where to take you.

In this post I will tell you about the best beaches in Fukuoka and make my personal rating of beaches. Also here you will find tips on choosing a place to come on vacation and a map of Fukuoka beaches in Russian.

In general, Phu Quoc is a beautiful tropical island, but it has its own characteristics. Firstly, tourism here began to develop quite recently and at a very fast pace, because of this, construction, dust and dirt in many places. This is no longer a tropical paradise where you are alone with nature, although in general the ecology is good - there are no industries. Secondly, there is a real problem with garbage and sewerage, the Vietnamese seem to have not yet figured out what to do with the influx of a large number of people. Yes, if the staff of the nearby hotel is watching the beach, they will be simply gorgeous. And if nobody's territory, then all the garbage will be raked there.

I think it will take several years and Phu Quoc will turn into main resort Vietnam (like Phuket in Thailand, where tourism has been developing for a long time). Until that happens, you have the opportunity to enjoy the almost empty beaches of this island. And I'll tell you which beach in Fukuoka to choose.

The best beaches in Fukuoka are mainly located on its western, northern and northern west side, but there are two fabulous places to visit on east coast... These are the small beaches of Sao and Kem. They are small, but very picturesque!

Sao beach

A cozy bay about one and a half kilometers long with incredibly white sand, fine as flour. Here are truly paradise landscapes, curved palm trees on the coast, mountains around, overgrown with tropical forest ...

Bai Sao is considered the most beautiful beach in Fukuoka, it is business card islands. All the more surprising is the heaps of rubbish that are found in some places along the beach. Apparently there is such a peculiarity of winds and currents that garbage is washed ashore in certain seasons.

Plus add to this the crowds of people who come on their own or with a tour, jet skis, bananas and all the attributes of a popular beach. So do not expect a bounty bounty from Sao Beach. The best part is on the left side at the very edge of the bay.

The entrance to the water is shallow, but there are small waves, but the water is very warm - the kids will like it. On the shore there are several overpriced beach cafes (it is better to buy food in advance in a store located at the turn from the main road to the beach), toilet, shower, you can rent sun loungers and an umbrella (100 thousand dongs). It is better to arrive in the morning: firstly, it is not hot, and secondly, the tourists have not arrived yet :)

There are no hotels on the first line on Bai Sao, everything is a little deep, but I do not recommend spending your holidays here either.

Bai Kem

Bai Kem Beach is located just south of Bai Sao and is a little less than a kilometer long bay. There is an active construction of luxury hotels with all the ensuing consequences, it is not so easy to get to the beach (according to latest reviews now only guests of hotels on the beach can get to the beach).

In general, Bai Kem is the same white sand, the same picturesque palm trees on the shore, but there are no people. But all this beauty is available only to hotel guests. In the meantime, there is an active construction, I do not advise you to settle there. even if there is such a possibility.

Long Beach

Long Beach is the most developed beach in Fukuoka. Its length is about 20 kilometers, so everyone will find a place for themselves. Part north of the airport and the city of Duong Dong is more developed, along the road there you will find all tourist infrastructure in the form of cafes, restaurants, travel agencies, ATMs, hotels. Part south of the airport only under construction, and although there have already appeared luxury hotels with a large territory, but otherwise you will be on the outskirts with an accompanying construction landscape.

Long Beach has medium-sized golden sand, a gentle entrance to the water (in some places a little sharper), the purity of the water in the sea depends on the waves and weather. During the calm period, there was clear water here.

Unfortunately, garbage can be found in some places, and the sewage system flows directly into the sea.

The advantage of Long Beach is the proximity to Duong Dong, where there is a night market, a fish market and several temples. And in general it is interesting to look at the life of a small Vietnamese town. But you should still choose a hotel a little further from the city, nice beach starts from Saigon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa and further south.

Long Beach

In my opinion, Long Beach is best beach in Fukuoka for vacation. Yes, it may be a little less picturesque here than on Bai Sao or Ong Lang, but it's still pretty cozy. Plus the developed infrastructure compensates for some of the disadvantages. It is easy to find a first line bungalow and enjoy your holiday.

Ong Lang Beach

Cool long beach to the north of the city of Duong Dong, it can be conditionally divided into several sections, and between them rocky headlands. Here, perhaps, the cleanest water that we have met on all the beaches of Fukuoka.

Ong Lang has fine light sand, which is pleasant to walk on. The most picturesque stretch of the beach is located near the Coco hotel Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

The big plus of this beach is the almost complete absence of tourists, as there are many classy hotels on the first line, all of a bungalow type. A chic place for honeymooners and lovers of tranquility!

The infrastructure is rather poorly developed, a little in the depths towards the main road you will find cafes and restaurants, the rest of the place is rustic and quiet.

Cua Can Beach

The beach is located next to the river of the same name, which flows into the sea. Rafting on the Cua Kan River is a popular pastime among tourists.

The beach is almost wild, there are no tourists, only a few locals... There are some backwaters and estuaries nearby, and a small community lives. It can be messy. There are only a couple of hotels in the vicinity, and a few cafes are on the way from the main road. Suitable for lovers of complete privacy :)

Vung Bau Beach

You can get to the southern part of the bay only through the territory of some hotel, we were in the northern part, the one that is closer to the cape.

Clean and remote beach, quite picturesque. Coastline narrow, there are almost no people, only those who came here specifically by bike or taxi, and the few guests of local bungalows. The entrance to the water is shallow, the water is very clean and transparent, there are sunbeds and a tire on a rope instead of a swing :)

There are several bungalow hotels on Vung Bau, all on the first line. You can eat only in the hotel cafes.

Luxurious beach at the five-star Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc. This hotel - whole city with a lot of buildings, villas, bungalows, swimming pools, golf courses, spa centers, gyms, a huge green well-groomed area where tuk-tuk runs. Vinpearl Land amusement park is nearby and the hotel also provides a free airport pick-up.

Bai Dai Beach

Bai Dai beach with fine yellow sand, the entrance to the water is gentle, and the sea is very clean, which is why the rest here is ideal for families with children.

Gan Dau

The village of Gan Dau is located in the extreme northwest of Fukuoka, literally a few kilometers from the islands of Cambodia, they can be clearly seen from the coast.

On the west side, there is a beautiful but dirty beach with cafes on the shore and many boats in the water. Most of the locals eat here.

If you drive through the village (on the way you will pass a rather smelly fish market) and take north coast in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Peppercorn hotel Beach resortthen there will be a pretty beach. During our visit, the water was not very clear, but almost no one.

Appeasement

Phu Quoc Starfish Beach

The beach near the village of Rat Wem is also called the beach with starfish... One of the best beaches in Fukuoka and well worth the trip. Best known for its marine life, with whom you can take a memorable photo.

And you can sunbathe here, white sand, clean water and a gentle entrance to the sea are good attributes and help in this matter. I recommend going only in the high season (from November to April), according to reviews, at other times there is a lot of algae and debris that no one cleans up, plus the dirt road is washed away after the rain. And also go as far as possible to the right, there are fewer people, and there are more chances to see starfish.

There is an overpriced restaurant on a wooden platform over the water, no more infrastructure.

Phu Quoc is awesome beautiful island in the very south of Vietnam, the largest in the country. In the northern part of the island there are mainly mountains and forests, but southern part Fukuoka is better known for its beaches.

Soft sand, clear sea and seclusion can be found on almost all beaches in Fukuoka. So which one to choose for a vacation? The best way - visit everyone! I made a short overview of the best beaches in Phu Quoc Island. Which one will be the first on your list is up to you.

Long Beach

long Beach in Fukuoka

On the west side of Fukuoka, you will find big beach called Long Beach. It is impossible to drive past it, because it is here that most of the hotels and resorts of the island are located. The beach on this side stretches about 5 km south of the capital Fukuoka, Dong Dong. You can relax on any beach. They do not belong to hotels, and no one will kick you out.

Ganh Dau Beach

gan Dau beach in Fukuoka

This beach is located at the top of the island in the north west coastif you look at the map of Fukuoka. It is about 28 km from Dong Dong. To get to the beach, you need to drive past a Vietnamese village, and soon you will find yourself in a paradise. Silence, tranquility and beauty. There is only one for the whole beach local restaurant, so that no one will bother you to enjoy the sea and peace. In the restaurant, by the way, you can eat good seafood.

Bai Sao (Sao Beach)

bai Sao beach in Fukuoka

On the east side of Phu Quoc Island is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Getting to it is a little more difficult than to Long Beach. It is best to navigate the map or take a taxi. There are practically no signs on the roads of Fukuoka. Bai Sao is a rather secluded place. There are only a few restaurants and guesthouses there, but they are located at a sufficient distance from each other. If you want a party, you better head to Long Beach.

Cua Can

kua Kan beach in Fukuoka

This Fukuoka beach is not very well known to tourists, although it is located only 8 km north of Duong Dong town on the west coast of the island behind a fishing village. You can get there by boat or ride over rickety wooden bridges on a bike. The car will not go there.

Bai Thom

bai Thom beach in Fukuoka

This Fukuoka beach may not be as beautiful as Bai Sao, but it has its own unique charm. In addition, there you can arrange a nude photo shoot or make love right under a palm tree. It is not often possible to meet someone there. An absolutely uninhabited place. This beach is located at the extreme point of the northeast of the island, about 35 km from Dong Dong. The best way to get there is by bike.

Bai Vong Beach

bai Wong beach in Fukuoka

Bai Wong is located on the east coast of Fukuoka about 8 km from the island's capital, about halfway to Bai Sao Beach. There is also white sand and generally very beautiful. There are several restaurants with local Vietnamese cuisine hidden under the palm trees. They serve delicious fresh seafood and fresh juices. It will not be difficult to get to Bai Wong by bike.

Take a look. With its help, you can decide from which beach of the island to start your voyage.

Phu Quoc Island beaches:

Bai Sao - a paradise beach in Fukuoka?

Do you dream of heaven on earth and the travel agency told you that it is on Bai Sao? Don't be fooled - the beach is cool, but absolutely bounty. Many people call it the best beach in Phu Quoc Island and in all of Vietnam, but we don't think so.

Tourists are brought to the center of the beach. These are mainly Vietnamese and Chinese - social creatures, where they all wallow in the water in one heap.

To the right, to the stones, there is an almost deserted beach, and it is no longer so clean there. Only single couples come here. The left side is more habitable: there are cafes, hotels, they sell fruits. Near the Paradiso restaurant there are slender palms leaning towards the water. Most of the Chinese live here: who would miss a photo shoot in fluttering chiffon dresses on a romantic swing?

But even on the "best" beach in Vietnam, you will behold a dump. The Vietnamese don't pay attention to garbage. Why export? We just throw it into the bushes.

We were very lucky: on the beach we did not find an abundance of sun loungers, inflatable trampolines, jet skis, boats and other activities. They did not understand why they were not there, because they wrote something else on the Internet. Get away from tourists, it will be quiet. But rubbish! In general, I liked the beach, but there was a feeling of annoyance after visiting. We did not return to Bai Sao again and we cannot call it the best beach in Fukuoka.

But enough about the cons. Here are the pros of the beach: clean water, fine white sand, very shallow entrance (good for small children), picturesque nature, almost seclusion, there are rudiments of infrastructure (resorts, cafes and restaurants, paid shower and even a free toilet).

How to get there. A taxi costs 300-400,000 VND, but it is cheaper and more interesting to rent a bike (150,000 VND per day). There are also excursions. Distance from the main beach of Long Beach is about 25 km.

So, you went to the beach. There are two roads leading to Bai Sao: one to the south of the beach (behind the stones) - and here is a real dump. The other goes to the civilized part. Both roads are concreted. The second one is very narrow, it is barely dispersed on it. As a result - traffic jams. The Vietnamese, in their favorite manner, simply did not complete the last 500-meter section of the road.

Hotels on Bai Sao beach

There are resorts and guesthouses on Bai Sao Beach, but for some reason they are not presented in online booking systems. On Roomguru.ru, we only found My Lan Guesthouse and The Beach House An Thoi (right by the sea) - such things. And on Booking.com there are hotels further away - Phu Nam House and Hanh Mai Hotel.

Long Beach is the most comfortable beach in Fukuoka

Connoisseurs of convenience will love Long Beach. Probably 95% of the hotels of the whole island are concentrated along the beach! You can find food without getting up from the lounger - or rather, she will find you herself. Besides hawkers, there are many cafes both on the beach and along the road.

Many people criticize the beach - they say it is dirty and noisy. We have not observed anything like that. Let's just say: the beach is the most ordinary, it does not cause emotions. Yellow sand, clear water. There are no waves, the approach is gentle.

Minuses: although the beach is municipal, some hotels do not allow to settle on their territory - they are banished. Plus there is little shade and the beach strip is very narrow. There are few civilized outlets to the sea - you need to either go around, or fight or secretly pass through the resorts (but almost always the security will prevent you). As you can see, there are many inconveniences - this beach cannot be called the best in Fukuoka either.

Hotels on Long Beach, Fukuoka

Long Beach has such a variety of hotels and resorts that it is difficult to choose. Many tours are sold specifically to hotels on Long Beach.

  • The Hill Resort 3 *. Nice brand new hotel. There is a pool, breakfasts, quiet. Price - $ 40.
  • Miana Resort 2 *. Hotel-garden. The best of all where we have lived in Fukuoka. Cozy bungalows surrounded by flowers. Open bathroom, large pool, royal breakfasts. Price - $ 42.
  • Cozy Resort. Spacious bungalows surrounded by plants. There is no pool. Price - $ 25.
  • Sailing Hotel 2 *. Cozy hotel with breakfasts with rooms in the style of the 70s. Price - $ 25.

Rush Wem is the most beautiful beach in Fukuoka!

Bãi Rạch Vẹm is a beach with starfish, which are innumerable here. We consider it the most beautiful and impressive in Fukuoka, this is the best beach on the island! There is unusually white and fine sand. We were stunned by such beauty and constantly photographed the beach.

Rush Wem is more suited for nature and stargazing than for beach holiday in the traditional sense. There is no infrastructure here, except for one seafood restaurant on the water. The beach area suitable for relaxation is narrow and small. The sea is shallow. There is almost no shadow - only 4-5 gazebos and one shed (a former cafe). Therefore, there are very few people!

Probably, we would give the title of paradise beach to Rush Vem. Just don't go to the left, so as not to be disappointed :)

There are many pluses. Here are the cons: about 5 km to the beach - dusty and bumpy dirt road. No infrastructure! For inexpensive food you have to go to the track - take food with you.

Where is it and how to get there. You can get to the starfish beach in Fukuoka by taxi or bike along the highway to the north of the island - use MAPS.ME to navigate. Don't miss the huge signpost with a photo of the beach. A valiant Vietnamese woman stands nearby and sends everyone to the beach. If you go straight ahead, you will find yourself in a picturesque fishing floating village, which is also recommended to visit.

Bai Thom

Bãi Thơm is another beach with starfish in Fukuoka. It is not at all as impressive as Rush Wem, and hardly suitable for swimming. The sand is yellow. At low tide, you can see marine life: molluscs, starfish, crabs, some corals. There is no infrastructure, except for a cafe. Come to that stretch of the beach off the island - the rest of the parts are terrible.

Bai Khem

To the beach Bãi Khemleads two roads: one through luxury hotel Marriott 5 *, where only guests are allowed, the other through the forest. Only locals come here. When we were on the beach, a cheerful company of Vietnamese was walking, there were many children.

The beach is not equipped, there is nowhere to spread a towel. The sand is usually yellow. A lot of trash. But the beach area near the hotel is comfortable and clean - after all, a five-star resort!

Duong Dong Beach

This beach is located by the lighthouse. We do not recommend swimming here - there is a port nearby. Although the locals do not disdain. People come to the pier to eat and watch the sunset.
