List of things to take with you c. Travel medical insurance

  • 01.10.2019

Any vacation trip involves a collection process. We decided to make this task easier and together with our regular readers have compiled a list of things for a vacation for the whole family. It focuses on the standard russian family, the suitcase in which the woman will collect.

Men can relax and take only money and a passport with them 🙂

It is better to start packing your suitcase 2-3 days before departure, since there is always something in the wardrobe that has sharply decreased in size over the last year, has gone out of fashion or just disappeared somewhere.

Documents

The main things on your list are passports and money. Everything else can be bought, but without a passport or money, the vacation will be hopelessly ruined.

Without documents, your vacation can be covered with a copper basin already at the airport, so passports and money should always be in your area of \u200b\u200battention, not only during packing, but also during the entire vacation. Therefore, we begin to collect with this:

  • Passports (check in advance the validity period, at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country of destination);
  • Photocopies of documents (in case of loss and so as not to carry originals with you);
  • Tickets (train or plane);
  • Vouchers (agreement with a travel agency);
  • Driver's license (yours and his, if you suddenly want to rent a car);
  • Bank cards and money;
  • Banking access (pin generator, password card, etc.)
  • Medical insurance;

It is better to split the money into several parts and divide it among family members, and one bank card can be put in luggage. In this case, if you lose your wallet, you will not be left without a penny in your pocket.

clothing

The hardest part of collecting a suitcase is choosing clothes. We love to take our entire wardrobe with us and by any means we can convince ourselves that everything will definitely come in handy. In fact, except for your other half, no one will appreciate your outfits. Therefore, we recommend that you take clothes at the rate of one outfit for 2 days.

For a standard 7-10 day seaside holiday, we recommend including the following items.

  • print list

List for women and girls

  • Swimsuit 1-2 pieces;
  • Pareo, tunic - one at a time;
  • Skirts (short and long), shorts - 1 pc .;
  • Jeans or trousers - 1 piece;
  • T-shirts, T-shirts - 3-4 pcs.;
  • Blouse (smart) - 1 piece;
  • Dress (cocktail) - 1 piece;
  • Panties - 1 pc. for a day;
  • Bra - 2 pcs.;
  • Night pajamas - 1 piece;
  • Sandals - 1-2 pcs. (including smart ones);
  • Sandals without a heel or ballet flats 1-2 pairs;
  • Beach slippers or flip-flops 1 pair;
  • Warm blouse, cardigan or windbreaker (for the evening) 1 piece;
  • A light shirt with sleeves (if you suddenly get burned), or better sunscreen - 2 pcs. (to be enough);
  • Sports type pants / breeches (or tracksuit) - 1 piece;
  • Headwear (1-2 pcs.);

A sports outfit can come in handy on some excursions and for morning wars for a place in the sun, when you need to throw a towel on a sunbed by the sea at 7:30 am :).

When choosing clothes, preference should be given to light-colored fabrics made from natural threads, or flax, and preferably cotton. In such clothes, you will feel comfortable in hot climates.

List for a man

  • Light trousers (for walking in the hotel, on excursions, around the city) - 2 pcs .;
  • Classic trousers (to go to a restaurant or evening program in the hotel) - 1 pc .;

  • Panties - 1 pc. for the day .;
  • Sandals - 1 piece;
  • Slates - 1pc .;
  • Summer shoes 1 piece;
  • Headpiece 1 piece;

It is also better to take men's clothing from natural, light-colored fabrics. A dark shirt can be useful for going out to a party or disco.

The eternal problem: how to put all unnecessary things in one suitcase? 🙂

Baby list

  • T-shirts 1.5 pcs. for a day (getting 2 dirty during the day is not a problem for a child);
  • Panties;
  • Shorts, skirts;
  • Socks;
  • Cap or panama (2 pcs.);
  • 2 bathing suits (one dries, we bathe in the other);
  • Cotton clothes with long sleeves (in case the child gets burned);

  • Sandals;
  • Sneakers for excursions;
  • Pencils, notebook, coloring books, etc. (how to keep your child busy on the road);
  • Oversleeves for the pool (if you can't swim);

To pack things ergonomically in a suitcase, you need vacuum bags and a vacuum cleaner. Please note that a vacuum cleaner will also be required during collection back. Otherwise, you just won't be able to stuff all your clothes into a suitcase 🙂

  • antiallergens;
  • from thrush;

Technique and other

In the hustle and bustle of collecting clothes, cosmetics and hygiene, do not forget about the most important thing - a camera or a smartphone with a camera. After all, thanks to these technical creations, then there will be something to remember and show to friends at work.

The same goes for Russian-language books, which, oh, how will be missed on the beach. So we suggest adding these devices and ideas (sometimes a little crazy) to your list.

  • Coffee (not everywhere it is like at home);
  • An umbrella or plastic raincoat (if there is a chance of rain);
  • Plastic hangers (for clothes);
  • Plastic food box (you can take a snack on the plane and carry fresh fruit to the beach);
  • Spare car keys (if left at the airport);
  • A pocket knife (never superfluous);
  • Children's toys for the beach (you can always buy on the spot);
  • Camera or camera (you can do both);
  • Selfie monopod (stick) (if needed);
  • Camera tripod;
  • Charger for the camera (camera);

  • Cell phones;
  • Charging device;
  • Socket adapter (if needed);

  • USB flash drive, preferably 16 or 32 GB (more);

With a creative approach to packing and packing, one suitcase can hold much more than you might imagine. Watch the video! And remember, this is a backpack. And you have a whole suitcase!

So, you go on a 3 day trip. What to take with you on the road? About it speech will be in our article.

Brief digression

Prepare in advance for a trip, especially a long one. There are things that are not done the day before departure:

  • execution of documents, bank cards of international standard;
  • purchase of medicines, currency, tickets;
  • copying of documents;
  • hotel booking.

Make a short plan and follow it clearly. Then you won't forget anything.

Create two lists on your laptop: for a summer trip and a winter trip. It will take several minutes to fill in the fields of the special program. Divide things into categories. Once you have compiled a list, you will need it for each subsequent trip.

What to take on a trip

Category No. 1. Cash, documents, road maps

If you go, include a roadmap in your list of things - it will definitely come in handy.

It is best to put documents, bank cards, cash in a backpack or bag. Always carry them with you.

So, the most important list on the road:

  1. International passport, its copies. It is needed if you are going on vacation abroad. Do not forget your regular passport to travel to your native places. Make virtual copies to a USB flash drive, email, phone. Play it safe. If you suddenly lose the originals, copies will come in handy.
  2. Air, railway tickets or printout of their electronic versions.
  3. Printout electronic booking hotel rooms.
  4. Medical insurance of the international policy, their copies.
  5. Driver's license, documents for the car, if you go on a journey by personal transport, their copy.
  6. Bank cards.
  7. Cash in the national currency of the country you are traveling to. Divide into 3-5 pieces, put in different places.
  8. Small notebook with personal notes. Enter the route of travel, addresses, phone numbers there.

Category No. 2. Tourist first aid kit

Another important point of what to take on vacation. Going on a trip without medication means risking your health. Many drugs are not sold overseas without a prescription. And the same cream for burns at the resort costs several times more. Therefore, it is necessary to take medicines on the road.

It is convenient to divide the preparations into two parts. In the first place, put the necessary remedies, for example, a remedy for allergies, motion sickness, or medicine that you are constantly taking. Carry them with you. All other drugs belong to the second part. They can be folded into a travel first aid kit and put in a suitcase. it is best to know in advance and prepare them.

What to take with you on a trip:

  1. Diarrhea medications.
  2. Antipyretic, pain relievers.
  3. Allergy pills.
  4. Antiviral agents.
  5. Antibiotics.
  6. Creams for burns, stretch marks, bruises.
  7. Medicines that you are taking constantly.
  8. Pills for motion sickness.
  9. Ointment for insect bites.
  10. Bandages, cotton wool, iodine, plaster, hydrogen peroxide.

Category â„– 3. What to take with you on a trip from personal hygiene items, cosmetics

In this category, add only the minimum set of what you need. Women often take their entire makeup arsenal with them on their travels. As a result, most of space in the suitcase is taken up by completely useless items. Take with you only really necessary personal care products!

What to take on the road:

  1. Toothbrush, paste.
  2. Shaving accessories.
  3. Comb.
  4. Solid deodorant.
  5. Liquid soap.
  6. Washcloth.
  7. Conditioning shampoo in samples.
  8. Roll of toilet paper.
  9. Dry wipes packaging.
  10. Wet wipes packaging.
  11. Cotton buds for the ears.
  12. Disposable plastic bags (10-15 pieces).

Supplement for women:

  1. 5-10 sponges.
  2. Small mirror.
  3. A couple of hair ties or hairpins.
  4. Moisturizing cream.
  5. Tweezers.
  6. Makeup remover.
  7. Pads, tampons.
  8. Mascara, small package of eyeshadow, lipstick.
  9. Foundation or powder.

The last two points are needed only if you cannot imagine your life without applying makeup. If you eat on beach vacation, then it is necessary to paint only in the evening, if you go somewhere to go. It is not recommended to do this on the beach. Therefore, you do not need 10 types of eyeshadow and the same amount of lipstick and lip gloss. One mascara, lipstick, a package of two eyeshadows and a foundation that evens out complexion - this is the essential list of things on the journey from decorative cosmetics.

Category â„– 4. What to take with you on the road from clothes and shoes

One of the most important items on your travel list. Think well your wardrobe.

Take things according to the climate of the place where you are going. Check out the weather forecast for your holiday days.

Don't bring a lot of the same clothes and shoes. Statistics show that half of the items on the list are never worn while traveling.

Take with you things that are combined with each other.

Give preference to comfortable clothes made from natural materials. Do not take new shoes with you that are not yet worn out and chafe your feet.

What to take on vacation:

  1. Pants or jeans. For hot climates, lightweight, linen are suitable, for cold climates - from natural wool or jersey, dense knitwear.
  2. Breeches or shorts.
  3. Two T-shirts.
  4. One blouse.
  5. Sweater.
  6. Pajamas, nightgown - what you used to sleep in at home.
  7. A light jacket such as a windbreaker.
  8. Sneakers, sneakers made of fabric. Put them on the road.
  9. 3 changes of underwear (based on what you eat for 3 days).
  10. Slates.
  11. Swimsuit (swimming trunks), pareo for a trip to the sea.
  12. Two pairs of socks.
  13. One dress for going out and shoes (sandals) to it.
  14. Sunglasses.
  15. Headwear - hat or cap.

Category â„– 5. What to take with you on a trip from technology

It all depends on personal preference. Someone takes one mobile phone, the other - a dozen items.

Optimal list of things on the road:

  1. Mobile phone;
  2. MP3 player.
  3. A laptop if you can't imagine your life without it.
  4. USB flash drive, external hard drive.
  5. A navigator is useful for traveling by private transport.
  6. Camera or camcorder.

The last point is easily replaced by a mobile phone with a good camera. If this is not the case, then take a camera - you need to bring beautiful pictures from your vacation.

Pack the equipment in a separate bag. Don't forget to include a charger for each. If you are on a plane, take your bag with you in case your luggage gets lost.

It is not safe to connect to a public network while traveling. Use a VPN.

Category â„– 6. What to take with you from food and other important little things

If the path to your holiday destination is not short, and you are not eating, for example, on an airplane where food is provided, be sure to take food with you for a snack. It is undesirable to have a meal in road cafes - the quality of products there is difficult to check.

Take water for the trip at the rate of 1.5 liters per person. From food, dried fruits, apples and pears, peeled nuts, vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers). All this should be pre-washed, cut and folded first in foil or parchment and only then in a bag.

If you travel for a long time, for example a day, it will come in handy:

  • boiled eggs;
  • chopped loaf, bread, thin lavash;
  • boiled or fried chicken fillet;
  • hard cheese;
  • baked goods with raisins, prunes;
  • crackers, bagels, biscuit biscuits.

Don't forget tea bags, coffee, sugar.

Important little things:

  • jackknife;
  • matches, lighter;
  • flashlight;
  • tee, extension cord for those who travel a lot of equipment;
  • toothpicks;
  • cling film;
  • boiler;
  • plastic mugs;
  • a set of disposable tableware.

Category â„– 7. What to take with you on a trip with a child

If you are traveling with a child, the amount of necessary items on the road increases. Take care of what to do with your baby on the way, what to feed, choose clothes and personal hygiene products.

List of things for a trip with a child:

  1. Documents. The child's photo is pasted into the parent's passport or he has his own passport. A visa, medical insurance is issued for it. You will need permission from the other parent in case you travel with the same mom or dad. These documents are needed to travel abroad.
  2. Clothing. Take the same things for the child as for the adult. Just double your outdoor clothing in case your little one gets dirty.
  3. Medicines for a child with chronic diseases.
  4. Food and drink. For toddlers, stock up on fruit and vegetable purees, baby food, juices, water, chopped fruits and cookies.
  5. Personal hygiene items: diapers, wet wipes, paper towels.
  6. A pillow under your head and a small blanket.
  7. Toys. Organize interesting leisure activities for your child on the road. Take with you a couple of books, a coloring book with pencils, 2-3 favorite toys. Some take a tablet or download cartoons to their phones.
  8. A foldable stroller or kangaroo backpack for very young travelers.
  9. A bottle, a pacifier.
  10. Collapsible pot.

What not to take with you on the road

I would like to take with me things that are dear to my heart, from which there is little benefit. In order for the suitcase to be lifting and not a hassle, it is necessary to discard items that will not be useful on the way. Approach your list with a cool head. Think about what you can easily do without.

There is no room in your suitcase for these items:

  1. Hair dryer. It is in any decent hotel, and it makes no sense to take it from home. For independent travel cut your hair so that you don't need styling or just collect your hair in a braid (ponytail, bun).
  2. Books. They are heavy and take up a lot of space. Lovers of reading will come in handy with an e-book. Download several works to your mobile phone at home.
  3. Decorations. Put on a minimum: a gold chain, a couple of rings. It is better to leave the bracelet and earrings at home, especially if you are going to the sea. They can be easily lost in water. A gold watch with precious stones, a brooch and other jewelry is not needed when traveling.
  4. Travel iron. Take things that won't wrinkle with you. In case the item is badly wrinkled, it can be sprinkled with water and hung on a rope. Or borrow an iron from the hotel reception. But an iron on a trip is a completely unnecessary item.
  5. Scissors, wire cutters, a corkscrew, a screwdriver and other sharp-piercing objects. The only exception is a small folding knife.
  6. Women's bags. You will not need a clutch when traveling. One small bag or backpack in which the essentials are stacked is sufficient.

Packing your suitcase correctly

The list of things you need to travel is impressive. But competent packing will allow you to collect everything in a suitcase with a volume of 45 liters.

First, arrange your travel items in separate piles by category in front of you. Place your shoes on the bottom of your suitcase. Above her are warm clothes, tight jeans. The same technique. Place knitwear with rollers. Put a first aid kit, personal care products, cosmetics in separate compartments. They are easy to obtain if you need them suddenly.

IN carry-on luggage take documents, money, house keys, phone, life-saving medicine, notebook with notes. Put the roadmap and all documents for the car in the glove compartment.

Don't forget a separate food and drink bag. If you are traveling with a child, you should have diapers, wet wipes and items for interesting leisure time with you.

Do not fill the suitcase all the way. Many airlines have weight standards (20 kg for one piece of baggage). Leave room for souvenirs.

Pack liquids in a tight bag. Separately fold shoes, clothing, etc., and distribute evenly throughout the suitcase. Put your underwear in a special pocket. Pack your cosmetics and other small things in another pocket.

Place a foldable bag on top of your folded items. If there is an advantage, put some of the things in it. The same bag is convenient to use when traveling for shopping or excursions.

A cover or film will help protect the suitcase from dirt. Pack the suitcase itself, and it will be visible from afar on the luggage strap.

If you are traveling abroad, take a phrasebook with you. The road to your destination is a great opportunity to practice a foreign language. Or upload audiobooks to your MP3 player.

There is a lot of time while you are on the road. Download a movie you've wanted to see on your phone or laptop, read a book, make a plan to improve your performance. In a word, do a useful thing for which there is no time in ordinary life. You can just sleep off. As a rule, there is no time for this in everyday life either.

To travel to new country take your guide with you. You have time to explore the culture, local cuisine, sights, laws and regulations of the new society.

Bring personal items with you. Someone is accustomed to sleeping on a single pillow, someone is mortally disturbed by mosquitoes. Stock up on insect repellent. Many children are used to sleeping with their favorite toy. The items will not take up much space, but they will make you feel more comfortable on the road.

Bring a maximum of 2 pairs of shoes: flip-flops for walking, going to the beach, and shoes (sandals) for going to a restaurant or disco. Put on closed shoes (sneakers or sneakers). They also come in handy in case of cool weather or rain. As practice shows, shoes take up a lot of space in a suitcase, and most of them are not used.

Epilogue

For many, collecting a suitcase for a trip for a few days is a challenge. Do not take two or three pairs of jeans with you - they will definitely not come in handy. Several types of the same clothing are permissible only with underwear, T-shirts and socks. One skirt, one shorts, one dress - this is enough for 3 days for sure.

The same goes for personal hygiene items. Take shampoo in disposable sachets, gel, shower foam is replaced with liquid soap and a washcloth. Remember, this is easy to buy at any store. The exception is a trip to the forest, where there are no benefits of civilization.

Take a snack with you, it's better to know in advance.

The main thing! Do not forget:

  • documents;
  • cash and bank cards;
  • house keys;
  • medications that support life (insulin, for example);
  • mobile phone and charger. Check your account in advance and inquire about the tariff. Do I need to activate an additional service for calls abroad, for example?

These are the items you really need for a successful trip.

Vacation is always a long-awaited event, however many tourists do not know what to take with them on a trip. It is difficult to make a list of necessary things, and quite often completely useless items appear in the luggage, which, moreover, have to be carried with difficulty.

When your suitcases are packed in a hurry, you will definitely forget something, which is why it is recommended to approach the collection of your vacation bag with special care, wherever you go.

Basic collection rules

Before you find out what things are vital on the way, what you need to take on a trip, study the list of basic rules that are recommended to be followed during packing. They are universal and suitable for absolutely any trip, wherever you go, to Crimea, Turkey or snow-covered Switzerland:

  • Get ready for your trip in advance, without postponing this activity until the last day. It is even better to make a list and carry it with you at least for a while, writing down the necessary things there when you remember them, because the insight comes at the most unexpected moment;
  • Less is better - this golden rule always applies. Believe me, hardly anyone will be able to appreciate all the charm and variety of your wardrobe on vacation, and you will get tired of lugging your suitcase on the way to the airport. Travel light, especially when it comes to foreign countries - you can buy good things on vacation, bringing new things home;
  • Find your travel suitcase well. It should be reliable, have a lock, strong zipper and minimal weight. It is better to give preference to a bright suitcase with an unusual design, then you will easily recognize it when distributing luggage;
  • Pack your belongings properly in your suitcase, so the clothes should be rolled up, as stewardesses do to save space. And do not forget to wrap everything in a plastic bag while your luggage is in transit, liquids may spill out of neighboring bags, ruining your things, and with them your rest.

Following these rules will come in handy on the trip, and the vacation will be flawless, at least your mistakes in collection will definitely not interfere with the trip.

Essentials

The most important thing to take with you on a trip is documents and money. It doesn't matter what the purpose of your visit is, how long you eat, at least for 2 days, at least for a whole week, you definitely cannot do without this list of things:

  1. Documents - this includes a passport, visa, insurance, plane tickets and hotel reservations, everything that is required for a particular country. You need to grab not only the originals, but also copies, placing them separately. Also, save all copies on your smartphone and in the cloud storage (even the VK network allows you to do this). In case of loss or theft, you will still have problems, but not so global;
  2. Money - you cannot do without cash, take with you at least a little of the currency of the country you are going to. Accordingly, keep the main amount on cards, preferably several - through a mobile bank, money can be transferred between your accounts absolutely free of charge. Store cards in different places, be sure to find out the bank number in advance in order to call for blocking in case of theft;
  3. A notebook with a pen for taking notes - in principle, a mobile phone is also suitable for these purposes, recordings can be made in a special application, drafts of SMS or on a dictaphone, if you are just too lazy;
  4. Download the most essential smartphone apps - maps, translator, books, games, music and videos - to while away the travel time. By the way, if you prefer to save money, find special travel programs. For example, when going to the Louvre, download an audio guide in Russian, who will tell you about all the exhibits with interest, and absolutely free of charge;
  5. Chargers - be sure to charge your gadgets before departure, and also find out what chargers are in the resort country, you may need adapters. Remember that a regular USB cable is enough to charge your smartphone from the TV in the hotel;
  6. First aid kit - of course, you can't do without medicines, especially antibiotics and pain relievers. If you suffer from chronic diseases, you cannot go without the usual medicines. But be careful, as in some Asian countries, domestic drugs are prohibited - find out in advance.

This list of things to take on a trip is actually individual. You yourself must determine for yourself, without which your journey is impossible, packing your suitcase.

Hygiene items you can't do without

When wondering what to take on a trip, of course, do not forget about the simple things that you may need at any moment. Even if you go for one, two or 3 days, you will need:

  • toothpaste and brush;
  • nail clippers or scissors;
  • wet wipes;
  • dry paper handkerchiefs;
  • comb;
  • shampoo in small tubes or probes;
  • plastic bags;
  • mirror;
  • shaving set;
  • sunscreen (useful in southern countries, and on ski resorts);
  • deodorant;
  • feminine hygiene products.

In fact, this list is purely individual, if a woman cannot go out without makeup, she will need decorative cosmetics. You can't do without pumice at sea, but you shouldn't take bright perfume on a bus trip, it can cause discomfort to your neighbors.

Traveler's clothing and footwear

The choice of dress for a tourist is a matter of personal views and preferences, it also depends on the characteristics of the host country. What should I take with me when traveling? The following set is useful for travel:

  1. Pants and shorts.
  2. A pair of T-shirts and blouses.
  3. Jacket and windbreaker.
  4. Comfortable sneakers or sneakers in which you are ready to walk all day.
  5. Swimsuit for sea \u200b\u200btravel.
  6. Underwear and socks.
  7. Ballerinas, sandals or slippers.
  8. Headdress.

Take a close look at the weather forecast as well as customs tourist country... For a Muslim resort, overly revealing outfits are not suitable, since you will attract annoying male attention. In general, the Vatican has strict rules, and if you plan to visit temples, you should take a skirt and a scarf.

Remember that some expensive and fashionable restaurants have a special dress code; you will simply not be allowed in shorts and sandals. If you are going to eat in such a place, you will have to bring sandals and a dress.

Food and other little things

Also look at how long you eat, which way of travel you have chosen, who will keep you company. Here are some helpful tips:

  • On a long train ride, you can take food, food that will not spoil and will not smell too much. Tea, coffee, sugar and cookies - a travel kit for traveling even for one day;
  • If you plan to sleep on the way, you can take an inflatable pillow or a roller under your neck;
  • An umbrella is needed for the trip if it starts to rain. This accessory, of course, can be bought upon arrival, but why do you need several umbrellas at home?
  • It is strongly discouraged to take any jewelry and costume jewelry. It is also worth leaving the watch at home if it is quite expensive. In other cases, a wristwatch can help you out, for example, when your smartphone is discharged, and you have lost track of time while sightseeing;
  • Matches or a lighter, of course, are not in order to burn down a hotel in which the level of comfort does not correspond to the stated photographs. Scotch tape, a needle and thread, a fumigator or insect cream, disposable spoons may also come in handy;
