When is it better to go to France? Self journey to France Documents for travel.

  • 22.07.2020

We continue to share with you ready-made recipes travel from our readers. Teresa Kavinsk from Lviv recently returned from a three-week trip to France, who fascinated it with its food, landscapes and architecture.

Why France?

I have long let droach on the pictures of Magic Etrut, and the French cheeses and croissants will not compare anything. In addition, I wanted to dispel the stereotype that France is only Paris and the Eiffel Tower, and surprise yourself and friends beautiful nature of this country.

How to get?

The cheapest way to get to France is to fly through Brussels. Since we had a plan to drive the coast of France from north to south, we took tickets from Warsaw to Charleroi, and back - from Toulouse to Warsaw's favorite Irish Ryanair. More added additional luggage to put our tent. Tickets cost € 80 from one person to two sides. We oscillated between Charlero and Paris, but the tickets to Belgium were cheaper.

Cheap options from Poland to Brussels or France and back are very often. And if Ryanair or Wizz Air are satisfied with the sale, it will cost almost free. In addition, Belavia recently launched direct flights Minsk-Brussels (from € 89 to one direction). You are sure to know what airports are far from the city. You can take a shuttle for € 10, we traveled by the hitchhiker.

Transport

Highway in France is excellent. Although most drivers do not understand English, but it is easy to explain where to throw it up using the language of gestures and cards on the phone. We were selected on autobahn, parkingons and small rural roads. Hitchwiki is always to help to learn the best points.
If the hitchhike is not your chip, use the Blablacar, which, by the way, came up with the French. Prices are democratic, and easy to find travelers.
It is also convenient to use FLIXBUS and EUROLINES. If you decide to arrange a trip by train, you should know that in France a special railway system. Prices depend on the time of year, high or low season and time when you buy a ticket. The earlier you buy - the cheaper the tickets will cost. If you are going to roll a lot, then buy a travel. For example, Interrail France Pass. And do not forget to say that you will receive a discount to 26 years old.

Public transport in France is inexpensive. Metro in Paris - € 1.7, and buses € 1.2-2, depending on the city. Pretty cheap bikes for rent in Paris and Bordeaux - € 2 per hour. But if you change the largest up to 30 minutes at stations, it will cost free.

What to save?

In France it is easy to save on food. We bought food in Carrefour and made awesome picnics for € 6-8 for two. Do you want to eat? Go to "Bulanzheri". Baguettes for 60 eurocents, and croissants for 80. And you enjoy, and national cuisine Try. If you see the morning bazaar, then do not miss it. As usual, prices are low and everything can be tried. We bought three avocados for € 1, Big Kish Loren for € 3 and a lot of seafood for five for € 20. And do not be afraid to bargain!

We also took me to eat from home and sometimes they prepared on a gas burner (bought in Decathlon already in France).

But the most big savings It turns out in transport and housing at the expense of the hitchhiking, caratsurfing and tents.

Where to live?

Fortunately, Kauratsurfing in France works well. We traveled not to the tourist season (the end of March - the beginning of April) and went through small towns. I was looking for koohev a day before arrival and almost always found. I am sure that in a high season and in big cities, the situation with this is worse, so I write in a week or two.

In addition to the koochev, stopped in hostels. In Paris, prices in hostels from € 30, but the rooms disassemble as hot cakes. I advise SMART PLACE Hotel Gare Du Nord (28 Rue de Dunkerque) and Les Piaules (59 Boulevard de Belleville). The first is in the Montmartre district, but not in the center of the moving, but on a quiet street near the metro. The second one liked even more - a gorgeous bar on the first floor and an incredible view from the open roof terrace. Every Sunday under the hostel is a noisy and cheap bazaar. In other cities, the prices are slightly cheaper, and there are no hostels in small towns. For example, in the city of Lorient, we stayed at the hotel for € 60 per two (it was the cheapest offer in the city, even without breakfast). Then I found the night in an unknown place, and there was no desire to sleep in the tent.

By the way, about tents. Theoretically, you can't put a tent within the city or park - it is prohibited. Of course, you can hide in the forest where no one will see, but there is always a risk that the flock of wild animals is visited. To us here, wild donkeys came to look at the tent. Therefore, if you travel with tents, stop in campsite or local. Camping costs € 15-20 per piece of land for a tent and a warm shower. If you are lucky, get acquainted with vagabonds from different countries and word wifi. But if you are a traveler (s) with a budget € 20 a week, I advise you to put a tent in the yard local residents. For the first time I practiced such in Norway, then in Italy, and here in France - it works. Just look for a house with a large courtyard and friendly people, turn on the most charming smile and ask to put a tent on the territory. First, it is legally. Secondly, you will have access to hot water and, maybe even WiFi. And thirdly, it is likely that you will be invited to spend the night in the house, and even feed snacks.

Well, now the route. Our path ran out of Brussels in Toulouse, it is more than 2500 km. But the standard route can be started with Paris, finishing Bordeaux, driving Normandia, Brittany and Aquitain.

Paris

We decided to avoid everyone tourist trails, so I did not even reach the Louvre and Triumphal Arc.. What surprised me in - he is a huge! It seemed that popular locations were within one district. But no. From Montmartre to Notre-lady 5 km, from Notre-lady to the Eiffel Tower 5 km, and there are 2 km from the Louvre from her. We did not chase the sights and walked on foot all day, enjoyed the streets of the Latin Quarter, blooming magnolias and a deserted park near the tower, where several local dogs walked. Oh yes! The best croissants will try in Du Pain et des idées (34 Rue Yves Tudic, 75010 Paris, France), and excellent falaphs in L "AS DU FALLAFEL (32 RUE DESIERS) in the Le Marais area.

Normandy

In trip, we drove for Normandy and Brittany. These are regions of cider, cheeses and rocks. Therefore, immediately after Paris, drove the hitchhiking in Normandia. First arrived in Ontfler - a small fishing town in the Calvados Department. Our chauffo lived in a high old house that the smell was like a chungeon, but very nice and in the city center. The specifics of the Norman towns are half-timbered homes, high (6-7 floors), but narrow (2-3 windows per floor) with low ceilings. It seems that such a house may not resist the busting of the wind, but the time shows another.

In addition to atfler, I advise you to visit Deauville, Trouville (Trouville-Sur-Mer), Feca (Fécamp). In Deauville, for example, Coco Chanel opened his first boutique and introduced a fashion on the tan.

Having lived in France, I had the pleasure to observe the change of all seasons. I lived in Paris, but from time to time he traveled on the rest of France. I must say, it was not always easy because of the weather. In winter, I was very frozen, since the winter there is not dry and cold, as in Russia, but very wet, with an abundance of rains. I remember that it was cold, especially in the subway of Paris. When I descended there, I was as if it was further discussed the wave of cold.

But the summer came very quickly, from March that could not but please me. Then I fully felt that Impressionism was born in France. Roses and other flowers bloom in the gardens around the city and the city is merging a pleasant, spicy fragrance. In the suburbs of Paris, it is especially pleasant to walk at this time: the trees are already green, roses bushes breathing through the fence of the gardens, and light birds are twisted among colors.

Summer in France

It is very roast. The temperature rises to +25, and in some regions - up to +30. The most adverse time for arrival in. If, of course, you do not want to get a sunshine in an infinite queue to the Louvra or the Eiffel Tower. Even to buy ice cream, and then you have to defend the turn. It seems that at this time all tourists from all over the world come here. The Parisians themselves laugh that they just leave their city, going to rest on the rivier or some resort, leaving tourists to be confused.

Things to do

Things to do

In the spring, it's nice to walk not only along the city itself, but also to go, for example, in the Vincensk Castle and the park. A visit to the castle, of course, paid (about 10 EUR), but the park is completely free. Peacocks are walking there and you can meet other animals. There is a flora of different countries: from the Japanese garden to high maples.

There are still excursions in the givernie. It was there that I wrote my famous monsters of Monet. It's amazing beautiful place. I understand that bus tours There were only 35 EUR there.

Loire Valley is also nice to visit. Arranges near the castles, influential Venels and Kings usually satisfied the parks and gardens, amazing to their taste.

Summary

Therefore, depending on the season, go to the appropriate regions of France. In any case, you will not disappoint. It is beautiful at any time of the year and give you the most pleasant upbringing. I liked the spring in France most. At this time, really all the streets simply fragrant from the smell of flowers. My girlfriends with a spring in the park and arranged mini picnics. It's nice to sit on the grass, in the shade of trees, watching the pass around.

Collecting on holidays to the country of Musketeers, you, of course, think about when it is better to go to France. Perhaps, the main way to answer this question will decide for which you are planning a trip. Summer is a time when riding to France is standing on the Cote d'Azur and the coast of the Atlantic. Although the Mediterranean Sea has its little secret in the form velvet season in September. In winter, the period comes when you fly to France in the direction of the Alpine ski resorts. And here excursion routes It is necessary to turn around in the spring and early autumn, when there is no heat.

Rest in France in spring

Weather in France spring is very changeable. Spring is pierced in the country gradually, from South Aquitain to Northern Normandy. And if on Cote d'Azur In March, it can already be + 15 ° C, then in much more cool. In April sunny days All over the country becomes greater, and the air warms up significantly. Well, May, in the period of flowering, the tourist season is at all officially begins.

Rest in France in the summer

Weather in France in the summer ranges from the region to the region. On the southern coast It is quite hot, whereas on the shore of the Atlantic heat does not happen, and in Paris, the weather is very moderate. In summer, many lovers come to France beach holidayswishing to soak in the waves Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. And in the summer in Paris Disneyland, the working time is prolonged until 22:00
