Abroad is attractive for our compatriot for several reasons: good service, the opportunity to see the world, profitable shopping, as well as an excellent opportunity to escape from the routine everyday life. Therefore, the last decade, Rousseau tourists have been selflessly exploring foreign countries. Russians have even got their favorite vacation spots in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Before starting any journey, you need to identify its main goal for yourself. In the concept of rest, some include blissful lying on the beach, others do not think of it without sightseeing, and for the third, be sure to serve exotic. Depending on the goals, you need
choose and place.

Most budget vacation abroad, where?
For many years, tours to Turkey, Egypt and Bulgaria have been considered the cheapest. Turkey and Egypt attract the beloved and convenient all inclusive.

Bulgaria has a mild climate and lower prices compared to the rest of Europe. But with the growing popularity among tourists, the cost of recreation in these countries also grows. Therefore, a more budgetary option would be a trip to Croatia, Montenegro, Romania and even to Baltic coast Poland, where you can have a great rest in a good hot summer.

Service, sea and nature here may not be too European, but at the proper level. Attractions for inspection, all sorts of monasteries, castles and picturesque ruins- complete. The cuisine is excellent. Moderately original, but not causing an unforeseen reaction in Slavic stomachs. You can also get to these countries by car.

Greece, Italy and Spain are also cheaper for tourists than the rest of Europe. Especially if you rest a little out of season and not in the most popular tourist centers... Experienced tourists say that prices are a couple of tens of kilometers from resort area an order of magnitude less. That is, if you rent an apartment or a hotel room in a small town on the coast in Spain or Italy, the rest will be much cheaper. By the way, an apartment with several bedrooms and a kitchen always costs less than a room.

In the Asian direction, it is worth paying attention to the resorts in Vietnam and Goa in India. The prices there are so low that if it were not for the expensive, vacation in these countries could be called the most budgetary. However, the flight is guaranteed to eat up a significant amount. Moreover, there are still not so many charters in that direction and the cost of air tickets is still high.

Belonging to the dollar zone and low local prices made the country very attractive for tourism Latin America... Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Cuba boast good ocean beaches, excellent, moderately exotic cuisine, and an interesting distinctive culture. But here, too, you need to make an allowance for the road. It will not come cheap.

How to organize inexpensive vacation Abroad?
There are two main options here: either last-minute deals, or a personal route, search for cheap charter flights and budget accommodation.
Last minute deals are a very good thing, but they have one significant drawback. They are burning for the fact that it will not be possible to plan their purchase in advance. Therefore, you can use two proven methods of catching them.

The first is to track the offers of tour operators in the right direction using Internet resources. True, in this case you need to have a loyal employer who can let you go on vacation at any time. The second method is suitable for large cities, where there are many travel agencies. First you need to pack your bags, and then go on a "hunt" for profitable travel agencies. As a rule, within 2-3 days, some offer at bargain prices appears.

An independent trip is advisable only in European resorts and tourist areas... Knowledge of the language is desirable. Cheap flights can be found on dedicated websites. In border areas, it will be more profitable for buses to get to the Eurozone and fly from there. Accommodation can be found online in advance.

Criteria and Index

The article was completely updated in February 2016 (prices are new, indices have been recalculated).

In this article, we are considering resorts where you can have an inexpensive vacation at sea for independent travelers. Criteria: cheap flights, cheap hotels and budget meals. In the case of Europe, the flight will be cheap, but room and board are quite expensive, and in the case of Asia, vice versa.

For each resort, we calculate a conditional index, which includes the cost of a round-trip flight from Moscow in the summer months of 2016, visa and accommodation in a double room in inexpensive hotel(10 days) per person - it allows you to roughly calculate how much the rest will cost. It is difficult to calculate the cost of food, travel around the city and other household expenses, since they are individual, therefore they are not included in the index. Departures are considered exclusively from Moscow, since it is from the capital that most of the inexpensive offers and promotions are available, and it is from here that most tourists fly on vacation.

Prices are current at the time of publication of the article - they are indicated in Russian rubles and for convenience are duplicated in US dollars.

Attention: the index is calculated per day of stay for one person on the basis that two are flying on vacation (they live in one double room) for a period of 10 days.

Exchange Rates:$ 1 ≈ 78 rubles.

Also, for the sake of interest, we will indicate the index for 2015 (which was at the rate of $ 1 = 56 rubles), so that you can compare how the cost of rest has changed over the past year.

We studied travel guides, forums, blogger reports, booking systems, websites with food prices and selected the most affordable countries for vacation. For each, a budget was calculated for two per day and converted into dollars. This is an average amount for a couple of travelers who live in the same room, do not like to spend too much and adhere to the golden mean in everything. After all, everyone understands different things by comfort: for some, a bed in a hostel will be enough, others will still choose among five-star hotels. Therefore, we did not take into account luxury hotels and restaurants, but found out how much it costs to have a snack in ordinary local cafes and live in guesthouses, mini-hotels or apartments on Airbnb.

In some countries, costs are easily cut by half to two times, if you use by public transport, is in not tourist spots and look for hotels according to the principle "we only have to spend the night." For India and Indonesia, for example, we recommend a daily budget of $ 40-50, but in these countries you can travel together for $ 20 a day.

In this article we will try to provide you with a description of the most popular destinations among Russian tourists... Also, many may be interested in reading the information from the article: where to relax abroad without a visa in 2018.

Most Popular Countries

In Turkey any Russian feels at home and therefore many residents of our country prefer to rest in this country. Turkey is mainly beach vacation with children on the Black Sea or the Mediterranean. You can also do inexpensive shopping here and naturally visit various attractions. Also, we must not forget about the entertainment, which is simply a huge amount in Turkey, and therefore every day there are a lot of nightclubs, discos, restaurants and bars for tourists.

Vacation prices here fluctuate depending on the season, season and part of the country. For example, a tour to Antalya will cost about $ 200, to Istanbul - about $ 350, and to Kemer - $ 250. On average, a two-week tour for two can be bought for 1000-1500 dollars, and if you are lucky enough to buy a last minute tour or go to Turkey in the fall, you can save up to 50% of their cost. Russian tourists prefer Turkey for a good vacation with an all-inclusive system, excellent climate, clear sea and numerous excursions.

Unfortunately for today, Turkey is closed to travel companies and many are tormented by the question of when Turkey will be opened. But you can go on vacation yourself.

Holidays in Egypt on the sea is the most traditional among the inhabitants of Russia, as this direction has long been "traveled" by Russian tourists. Here you can enjoy excellent service in hotels, warm climate, a huge amount of entertainment for only $ 250 for 7-8 days of excellent rest.

Warm Red Sea, gentle sun, All inclusive and, of course, the ancient pyramids- this is what many tourists come to this beautiful country with its ancient history and unique monuments of culture and architecture: the Pyramids, the eternal Sphinx and Luxor, which are visited by tourists, all this is worth going to this country on vacation. But this direction is closed, although there is information that flights will resume soon.

And, of course, there will be a logical question: which is better, Turkey or Egypt in terms of service, comfort, food?

Thailand no less popular than Turkey or Egypt, but in this country the high season begins in mid-autumn and ends in early winter. Therefore, if you want to purchase the most cheap tour then it is best to count on the month of April or May.

A voucher for a ten-day vacation will cost about $ 700-800. The cheapest vacation at sea in 2018 will indeed be in Thailand, since in almost any region of the country you can have a great vacation for 15-25 dollars a day. If you decide to go on your own, then on average you will need about $ 400 per month for accommodation with the condition of staying at a hotel in the center of Pattaya. But you can find rest and cheaper. On the island of Phuket, Chang, Koh Samui, Phi Phi, you can find a hotel room for $ 150-200 per month. And if one room is enough for you, then you can rent it for 80-90 dollars.

Thailand has very cheap food so you only need $ 100 a month for food. For $ 2 you can have a great lunch in any cafe, and $ 6 is enough for dinner in a good restaurant. And if you want to fill your suitcase with inexpensive things, then $ 100 will also be enough for you, without even bargaining.

The cheapest sea tour

Vietnam Is an incredibly beautiful place where you can find many untouched corners of nature. And even in spite of the ever-increasing popularity of this country, rest in it remains quite acceptable. So, for example, $ 10 per day is enough for one person for hotel accommodation, meals, excursion programs and massage. And if you’re willing to spend $ 20 a day, you’ll be able to indulge yourself in nothing. Therefore, 400-500 dollars for an excellent 30-day vacation will be quite enough. But this is not counting the flight, since plane tickets are not included in this price (a direct flight will cost a little more than with transfers).

Read a useful informative article on comparing countries: What to choose - Thailand or Vietnam, Sri Lanka for quality inexpensive rest, excursions and entertainment?

Goa (India) is another popular tourist destination, since with 100 dollars in your pocket (6,000 rupees) you can have a great rest and indulge yourself in nothing, especially when it comes to northern Goa.

The cost of a holiday in Goa for a European person is quite low, especially far from big cities and megalopolises. The most expensive vacation in Goa in winter, as the high season begins at this time, but if you buy a ticket in the off-season, then the tour with air travel at the time of the price drop starts from $ 400. But if you decide to go on your own and settle in an inexpensive guesthouse, as many young people do, you can save about 20-30% of your money. Goa is very popular among Russians due to its favorable tropical climate and recreation at almost any time of the year.

Abkhazia is located next to Russia and therefore many people prefer to go to this country on vacation, since for many it will be the most a budget option have a great time on the Black Sea. I would also like to note that Russians do not need visas and passports to go on vacation to Abkhazia and the journey will take a little time.

If you do not have a large amount of money, you can choose a vacation in the private sector, where prices for budget housing do not exceed 300-350 rubles per day per person. If you want more comfortable apartments in the private sector, you will have to pay a more significant amount - about 500 rubles. Meals per day in Abkhazia will also cost you from 500 rubles per day. Thus, it can be calculated that a seven-day vacation in this country without travel will cost about 5,600 to 10,000 rubles per person.

Holidays in boarding houses and hotels in 2018 will cost much more. So, for example, a double room in a boarding house or sanatorium will cost from 1600 to 8000 rubles per day. Thus, if you are counting on an inexpensive vacation in Abkhazia, then you will need an amount of 22,000 rubles for two. For 30,000 rubles for two, you can also see all the sights of this beautiful country.

Many Russians, we are sure, will be curious about the answer to the following question: Where is it better to have a rest - in Sochi, Crimea or Abkhazia?

But the cheapest vacation abroad by the sea is waiting for you in Bali and Cambodia... These countries offer the cheapest accommodation and food for tourists. In Bali, you can find great accommodations for $ 100 a month and the same amount for food for 30 days. The only drawback is the very expensive flight - about $ 1000!

Cambodia and Bali are not very famous countries for tourist rest, and therefore the question will be logical: Where are Bali and Cambodia?

And in Cambodia, you can find a room for $ 1.50 a day, and buying delicious and cheap food, you will feel guilty that you are paying people so little. A visit to one of the most famous monuments of the Kingdom of Cambodia in the world - Angkor Wat will cost you only $ 5.

Exquisite relaxation

Sri Lanka or Ceylon recently began to enjoy great popularity among Russian tourists, as many want to relax in exotic locations where beautiful nature reigns and there are many secluded beautiful places and unique cultural and historical sites.

And it is in Sri Lanka that you can have a great rest in an inexpensive beach hotel for 10-15 dollars a day. And here you can do the most different kinds sports: diving, surfing, fishing, kiteering, rafting, etc. But plane tickets here are not cheap, so it is best to buy tickets for charter flights or on flights with transfers. Thus, you will need about $ 400-500 for a month's rest.

Greece Is the country of the ancient gods, the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea as well as wonderful scenic spots where you can relax with children at the most affordable prices. Halkidiki is a gem Aegean, Crete - the island of the legendary Minotaur, Athens - the capital of the country, Rhodes, Peloponnese, Attica, Paros, Corfu and many other islands and resorts of Greece attract many tourists from Russia. And they are all great for family vacation... On average, a vacation in Greece will cost you $ 250-350 for 7 days. Currently, this country is one of the cheapest countries where a Schengen visa is required, who want to fully enjoy the beach and sightseeing rest on the sea.

Cyprus cannot be called very cheap for recreation, but it is very popular among Russians. A ticket to Cyprus from Moscow will cost about $ 200 per person, but if you get a share of any airline, you can save from 30 to 50%. But living on the island is quite expensive. The cheapest room in Paphos will cost $ 30-35, but you can rent a room for $ 25-28 per day. Food in cafes and restaurants is also not cheap, so it is best to buy food in supermarkets, where there are various promotions and discounts.

If you choose where to relax, between the last two countries, we recommend reading the differences between them: Which is better to choose - Greece or Cyprus, for example, for a beach holiday?

Europe is a holiday destination

Portugal is a member of the Eurozone and therefore cannot boast of the same low prices like the countries of Asia. But the rest here is completely different. Budget:$ 80-90 per day

Montenegrins' favorite national fast food is burek (round pie or rolls with vegetable, cheese or meat filling) - sold for $ 1 in bakers and on the beaches. A generous portion of cevapchichi with potatoes and pita costs $ 5-9 - and it is enough for two. It's even cheaper to have a snack in the mesare. In these butchers' shops they sell semi-finished products, but you can ask to fry the same chevapchichi on the spot - this is called "making on the rostila". You can have a thorough breakfast in a Montenegrin cafe for two for $ 7-10, and a three-course restaurant dinner will cost $ 25-30. If you walk away from the coastal establishments literally 500 meters, you can save up to 50%.

The most expensive city in terms of housing is Budva: at the peak of the season, unpretentious one-room apartments by the sea are rented for $ 35-45 per day. But even in Budva, even in summer, you can rent a neat room in a guesthouse or a small studio for $ 20, if you book in advance. In winter in Montenegro, prices for hotels and apartments fall by almost half.
